Great Experience - Twin Cities Minnesota

For anyone out there in the Twin Cities, Minnesota area, I just took my DD to see a physician at MN Gastroenterology - Dr Lisko.  He was amazing!  Spent an hour talking with us and kept repeatedly telling us, he had all the time in the world.  He specializes in Celiac disease.  Based on her symptoms and suspicion of celiac disease - she is already scheduled for an endoscopy day after tomorrow. 

 

I thought I would provide another resource for those in this area.

Is this a pediatric gastro?  I live in an area of MN where there is not a pediatric gastroenterologist.  We would need to travel to the Twin Cites to see one.

He is not a pediatric gastro, he sees adults.  DD is now 22.  Sorry :(

      New issue

      I was taking medicine for sibo but it was not agreeing with my stomach at all.Was on gabapentin but it amps me up.I was taking in morning because it wasn't allowing me to sleep.This has always been an issue with medicine and me.Even going to dentist, the good shot that numbs you once, I can't take because it makes my heart beat fast and I get the shakes...

      I showed one doctor I went to once because completely clueless of celiac disease and yes that one was connected to a well known hospital and she said oh thats just a bunch of people that think they are celiac coming together. I said um no they have doctors and knowledge behind what is being written. So bay area is Downplaying this site! SADLY

      Do Gluten Enzymes actually work?

      If you successfully digest gluten with enzyme supplements so it won’t give you side effects, your challenge won’t be worthwhile because the digested fragments of gluten also won’t stimulate antibody production or cause intestinal damage.

      You can search this site for prescriptions medications, but will need to know the manufacturer/maker if there is more than one, especially if you use a generic version of the medication: To see the ingredients you will need to click on the correct version of the medication and maker in the results, then scroll down to "Ingredients and Appearance"...
