Can celiac be positive with normal complete blood count?

Did some blood work this morning. Have been suffering from MANY celiac symptoms and doc wanted to check for it. All of my blood work has posted and is within normal ranges, except for the celiac panel (which results have yet to post). 

My dad was saying to me, “it’s all in your head. If you had “this celiac thing” you’re talking about, your blood cells would reflect that. Your white blood cells would be high or something - your metabolic panel wouldn’t be normal.”

Obviously, going to continue to wait to get the celiac panel back, but is it common to have a normal complete blood cell count and still test positive for celiac?

Normal cbc and above average nutrient levels here. I failed every celiac test. Lol

Yes you can have normal CBC, liver enzymes, etc and still have celiac.

Thank you!! Obviously, my celiac panel hasn’t come back in yet so it could be just fine as well, but was getting frustrated trying to explain that one test (CBC, liver enzymes etc) won’t show conclusively negative celiac.

      I agree with @trents, could be worth having another scope. Oddly enough I'm in the same boat except my current odd sensation is near my appendix, I think I'll request a colonoscopy for peace of mind.

      Yes, take this up with your GI doc during the next visit. It might be a good idea to get an upper GI scoping done if you haven't had one done since diagnosis.

      You can take more than one GliadinX before eating out, but I'd avoid items that you know contain gluten, for example the chicken with beer in the coating. It's really designed for small amounts of cross-contamination, and should not be used to purposefully include gluten in your diet.

      I will be doing in the new year. I had a thought that it might be Diverticulitis but I have no other symptoms related to that.
