Mary's Gone Crackers are my favorite so far - but they do involve rice :)

Have you tried ener-g crackers? They are a cross between a ritz and a water cracker. I really like them. I can get them at my health food store.

EnerG makes a pretty normal tasting cracker. They are quite good.

my daughter and I like the EnerG crackers so much, I ordered a CASE of them! They are a great normal cracker...

If you can tolerate nuts, the Nut Thin crackers are great - non-celiacs beg to share mine. Another great crunchy/salty snack is Lundberg Rice Chips. Haven't found anything to replace Ritz - I did see some crackers on a website that claimed to be that. Maybe search the Gluten-free Mall and other places. You probably won't find them in a store but will have to go on the internet. Worth the shipping cost if you get a lot at once.

Another vote for Ener-G crackers. I bought a case too.

They aren't like Ritz, but I like Casabe Rainforest Crackers. To me, they are a more neutral flavor than Mary's Gone Crackers (which I also like) and work well as a vehicle for a slice of cheese. I've only tried the wild onion flavor, and I really like them with sharp cheddar. I wouldn't recommend these for plain cracker eating.

You can see them at this link:

As usual, they are pricey...there aren't many crackers in that $3.69 box.

I just found these today and they are so good!! They taste like a real cracker! They are called Pizzirilli and they are around $5 for a decent size bag. Heres a link:

I really like Glutano crackers...they are the closest thing to a saltine I've found. I like them when my stomach is upset. For snacking I also like mary's gone black pepper crackers. I haven't tried Ener-g's yet...

It sounds like you have a very reasonable GI doctor, who diagnosed you based on family history and symptoms after eating gluten. I would consider you lucky! The other option would be to make yourself very sick by doing weeks of a gluten challenge prior to an endoscopy.

Hi Colleen H,   I suffered with the pins and needles/burning feeling in my legs and feet for at least  6 years until my Nephrologist figured out that I had to go on a low salt diet.  He said my kidneys weren't strong enough to remove the salt.  The simple fix was a diuretic, but that med leaves the uric acid behind, so that wasn't an option.  On the bright side the low salt diet lowered my BP over 20 points and and the pins and needles/burning feeling went away.  Good Luck and hope this helps.

Yes this is very frustrating for me ... not sure what to think.  Feels like I'm having reactions to a lot of things  Now applesauce?? I don't understand 😞

I did ... But aren't we going to be vitamin deficienct if we are not eating due to being sick ?? If the food we eat is gluten free and we have other sensitivities , how do we get out of the cycle??  Thank you

Anyone else get pins and needles. ??? Burning feeling ? Heat makes it so much worse 😔  Winter is here.  I had to lower my thermostat because I couldn't take that hot air feeling 😔  Hopefully it goes away soon
