Are the Campbell’s skillet sauces gluten free?

Very few Campbell's brand items are gluten-free.

The sauces aren't listed and the labels all say "modified food starch". Since it doesn't say what type of starch, you should assume wheat.

Actually all modified food starch made in the USA is made from corn. Please see our safe list:

Modified Food Starch can be made with wheat, but usually it is made from corn in the US.  If it contains wheat, the label must note that wheat is in the product since it is one of the eight allergens per the FDA.

However, I side with Ferir.  The best place to check is with the manufacturer and to always read the label as websites do not always keep up with label changes.    Campbell’s has a limited gluten free product list.  Gluten free means that they insure that the supply line is indeed gluten-free and meets gluten-free standards of less than 20 ppm.

First, we verify all the ingredients are gluten-free, then we analyze the finished product to make sure it is also free from any gluten.  Additionally, we also test finished products at least once every six months to ensure continued compliance with our gluten-free policy.“

Me?  I would not use this product.  I am concerned that contamination can take place within the supply chain or manufacturing process.   Obviously, even Campbell’s is concerned as well.

@cyclinglady is correct here that if it doesn't include "wheat" as an allergen the modified food starch is made from corn, but I just want to point out that a survey was done years ago and there are only a handful of very large companies in the USA that make modified food starch, and 100% of it is made from corn. Only if the product is made outside the USA would you need to worry about this ingredient, but existing labeling laws in the USA pretty much remove you from having to know this little tid bit of info! ?

      King Arthur Gluten-free bread flour contains wheat starch, but has had the gluten removed. According to the FDA, it meets the FDA's gluten-free standard of less than 20 parts per million (ppm) of gluten. Has anyone here tried to bake bread from this? If yes, did you have a reaction?       So i was eating tons of gluten my whole life until two months ago when i had high gliadin iga. At that time, i tested negative ttg and biopsy confirmed no celiac. I had h pylori and severe gastritis (no atrophy or ulcers).   fast forward today, i avoided gluten and had antibiotic treatment to erradicate the h pylori. I am feeling much better. A few days ago is when i tested negative for ttg, gliadin igg, endomysial iga. But i did test positive for gliadin iga. Pretty strange because i had gluten three days ago (accidently ate mac and cheese and fried chicken after taking the tests) and i feel fine

      @nanny marley, Are you having an endoscopy at the same appointment as your colonoscopy?  You said you have been going through testing for Celiac.  An endoscopy with several biopsies from the small intestine (after the stomach at the beginning of the digestive tract) is the gold standard for diagnosing Celiac Disease.  Celiac cannot be diagnosed by examining the large intestine and colon.  Colitis occurs at that end of the digestive tract.  I understand you are being checked for Colitis.  Are your doctors also going to do an endoscopy with biopsies at the same appointment to check for Celiac?  Even if you are too unhealthy to undergo a gluten challenge prior to an endoscopy, there are changes consistent with Celiac Disease that can be found by biopsy and microscopic examination.  Also get checked for nutritional deficiencies.  Many of your health complaints you've mentioned in other posts can be connected with vitamin and mineral deficits.
