Has anyone found out what that little white pill is that the naturpath people give? I know we hashed this out before but I need the little white pill!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm having terrible brain fog and I just am not remembering anything and I get mixed up in my words and thoughts. It's scary to be that this.

They took me off my thyroid meds as rare as it may seem my thyroid started to function some what again.I'm trying to take armour but I have to take my pulse to make sure its not above 85, now it seems my pulse is alway 85 or 86 so I can't take my thyroid med. Evening it's down but when I take the amour at night I'm ready to fly and then I get no sleep.

I know the mystery pill many don't believe in but I know it made my foggy brain function better.

I have never been this confused in my life....

I don't know anything about a "little white pill", but I know some things that might help you....

I find that drinking a red bull really helps with the brain fog, post glutening. It has a lot of B vitamins and taurine and it helps you focus.

Also orange juice and zinc tablets help. I've been known to chew spearmint and cinnamon gum when I need to focus (ie: before a test)

Are you talking about Homeopathics? There are a lot of different kinds of Homeopathic remedies, for many different things, They come in little white pills, tiny white pellet balls and liquid tinctures. You can usually find them at most Health Food Stores. Newton's Labs is one company that does the liquid tinctures. I use one for allergies from a company called Boiron.

this is a company I use a lot.

Be patient with your system while it is tring to get used to the decrease in your thyroid med. Celiac can mess with our thyroid and you should take this improvement as a sign you are healing. You sound like you may also be getting some gluten or cross contamination from somewhere, check everything and most particularly any meds you may take. Is there anything you are working with that is new or different, even something as innocent looking as white glue can be a problem. I hope you feel better soon.

Mamaw, even though the 'little white pills' all look the same, the ingredients aren't the same. There are hundreds of different homeopathic remedies. It's impossible for us to know exactly which one you have tried before that worked for you.

For instance, I use one called Sepia, which works amazingly for a stomach ache after eating something wrong. But it certainly wouldn't help you right now. You need to find out specifically which remedy you're looking for. You may need to see a homeopath or naturopath to find out.

Thanks for all the support. I haven't changed anything except for the dam thyroid pill. I was doing wonderful for almost a year on the cytomel. I know I should be happy that I'm only a handful that the thyroid started working but for me its up & down. I feel like I'm on a ferris wheel. I'm tired , b%$@#y, sad, no patience and whatever other thing you can think of I'm experiencing it.

I was so discussed today that my pulse was a tad on the high side that I just took the amour and said the hell with it. About half hour later I became my high energy self and did a hundred things including making gluten-free graham crackers. This evening I'm still feeling okay. I guess now its just the thyroid. It sure can make one feel bad.

Also I have noticed that my fibromyglia has gained strength since going off the cytomel, as well as my rosacea. Headaches also have began once more .

I'm supposed to take armour in the am & pm but I can't take it twice a day or my pulse goes sky high and I don't want to end up in the ER again.

thanks to all

Welcome to the forum, @yellowstone! The most common ones seem to be dairy (casein), oats, eggs, soy and corn. "Formed" meat products (because of the "meat glue" used to hold their shape) is a problem for some. But it can be almost anything on an individual basis as your sensitivity to rice proves, since rice is uncommonly a "cross reactor" for celiacs. Some celiacs seem to not do well with any cereal grains.

What foods can trigger a response in people with gluten sensitivity? I've read that there are foods that, although they don't contain gluten, can cause problems for people with gluten sensitivity because they contain proteins similar to gluten that trigger a response in the body. I've seen that other cereals are included: corn, rice... also chicken, casein. I would like to know what other foods can cause this reaction, and if you have more information on the subject, I would like to know about it. Right now, I react very badly to rice and corn. Thank you.
