The first couple years that I was sick I had really bad PMS and all of my symptoms got worse around that time of the month...it was heinous and I would totally dread it. I also had very light flow during that time....and my periods were very short.

When I changed my diet and stopped eating processed foods that all got better. Only about a week after my diet change I had my first normal period in over 2 years. The PMS was gone and the flow was normal. So far its stayed that way...almost 3 years now. The only thing is I get REALLY tired the day before.

Well girls, I got my two major goals accomplished today. Cleaned the bathroom (which could have put most single men's bathrooms to shame, lol) and FINALLY put away my Christmas stuff.

I even vacuumed the livingroom.

Well...she did tell me to stop eating them about 7 times...but that was only because I was eating ALL of them.

I havent had any bad side effects from Alinia...so far its been ok.

I can't wait to hear of the demise of the stupid beast.

LOL! NO, that's not what I meant at all! I meant I used to buy whole bags of cookies and eat them all!!! LOL! I reachel almost EVERYTHING I eat!:P

 Yeah, I had a feeling you weren't talking about me, but it just fit so well. :P

Rachel, it does sound like cobra is upset...

To Cobra: we're sorry buddy, but you have to vacate our friend Rachel and since you won't do that on your own...

I am feeling better today, take extra charcoal or chlorella when I need. Also the lemon water last night (first try) REALLY helped! Thanks again, guys, for all your suggestions over the months.

I'm celebrating not having too much candida issues with making my first loaf of gluten-free bread, and making chocolate chip cookies. I found some Enjoy Life chips in a store not far from me--the first I have ever had. I tried to have a friend bring me some to China but she couldn't find them. I have been so hungry for a chocolate chip cookie!!! I'll try not to rachel them.....LOL.

Sometimes I feel worse around my period but it isn't consistent. I haven't figured out what makes the difference.

Hey, Birdy and I are at Lymechat. :)

Hi Everyone,

I haven't been around much... life's been busy and tiring.:wub:

At this point my healthy problems are starting their "down" swing again (I swear this is hormonal) and I get to expect another major allergy to show up. :(

I started humaworm on Monday, but have only "gone" twice since then. And that second time didn't really count. I'm taking charcoal (lots of burning pain in my stomach, and some reflux ('cause I've been skipping the prilosec )).

At this point we don't have many answers. I'm going to bioset more often, but I feel like it's just throwing us random puzzle pieces. Seeing the allergist and LLMD within a month, but I'm trying to see if it would be practical, or helpful, to see the nearest ART practitioner (2.5-3.5hrs away) for an appointment or two to see if we can get to the root of things to work out in bioset/with LLMD. The only problem is the distance, and the price (we spent $25,000 on medical expenses last year for our family (4) and a good portion of that was on me alone :().

Any advice on what to do? I'm going to be checking out how much it is for ART, and check again exactly how far it is to see whether it would even be an option.

ShadowSwallow Newbie

It turns out that the ART practitioner I was looking at is 3hrs and 45min away, and he is a DO that deals mainly with pain. The person who looks like the best bet is nearly 6hrs away. :(

Dear Everyone,

I am following along! I just got caught up with my reading. The regularly scheduled column will be on here soon! Sometime this evening I should get it on here. I must go upstairs and make my memory notes, then edit. After that, I can respond!

Sincerely,

Jin

Donna,

Yay on the accomplishments today. :D

Rachel,

So long to Cobra......whenever he decides his ride is over......

Glad to hear Michelle let you have some brownies without a fight.

Birdy,

I don't know what to tell you. I think ART is very beneficial, but a good practitioner who uses it is important.

Hi Jin! I've been wondering where you were. :)

Rpm999 Contributor

andrea, would you happen to know how to find art practitioner location? is it possible a bioset practitioner could do it as well? i'm sure there's some other types of doctors that are prepared to do it....i tried googling and all it showed was artwork  when right on the bioset site it shows certified people in every state as easy as that

mftnchn Explorer

Birdy, I don't know, either. The whole ART thing is new to me, but I was impressed with Dr. E. Hopefully this is going to work fo me.

Thanks for giving me that idea, Rpm.....I just went on the bioset.net site and found a practioner in my area. I am going to call tomorrow and see about doing that.

I am going to the HFS tomorrow to see if they can direct me to anyone that does ART. Shot in the dark, but what the hey - you never know!

AndreaB Contributor

RPM,

This is what my ART practitioner said....

As for ART, I would contact biopure, or try www.neuraltherapy.com, and get the phone number and call and see. They used to have a provider list on their site, but it hasn't been updated for forever!

Bioset Question....

Is this mainly used for Finding and dealing with food allergies or intolerances?

Is this anyway similar to art?

Rpm,

ART is an alternative healing modality, so it's not a surprise you got that response from the hospital.

I am working on getting some more info for you, but in the meantime I am wondering if you could email somebody on that referral list at neuraltherapy and ask for a feferral for your local area? just a thought.

Rpm999 Contributor

that's a good idea, i'll try when i get a chance...there has to be something near here, ART is the next test i want to have because i didn't feel too comfortable with my, so i'd be interested to see what's going on in my body/what effect it's having before i continue with him...my body is all off and antibiotics never do anything for me, which surprisingly i've heard people say on here...better to get the whole picture before going around in circles with and just getting worst, i'd rather wait before i take anything since it's been so long with a lot going on

I'll pm you all the emails and such that I emailed looking for an ART practioner. Everyone replied quickly. You might have better luck than me finding one in your area

Bioset Question....

BioSET is electrodermal testing and ART is muscle testing. Pretty different in what they do. BioSET "desensitizes" and ART reveals what is going on in the body...what is making it weak so to speak. It reveals things in layers, so what is stressing the body most is what will show up in any session. For me lyme showed up the strongest.

BioSET is not just food but anything that the body has become sensitized to. It is a desensitization tool, but it was really helpful for me in knowing exactly which foods were causing me problems. That gave me a base to start with. I'd been trying an elimination diet, but couldn't get anywhere because all the base "safe" foods were causing me to react. BioSET identified safe foods for me. They desensitized me to the problem foods, but I continued to avoid or limit most of them for quite a while. I've eventually added some of them back in now.

BioSET didn't find lyme for me the first two times she tested me for it. That's, I guess, because my body hadn't become sensitized to anything in the basic panel she had used. She eventually used a more specific detailed panel, and some lyme issues came up.

Thanks Donna, That makes sense to me now...... :)

You're welcome! BioSET was also helpful in clearing my detox pathways...my doctor wouldn't even consider treating me until he had seen that my pathways were cleared, lol. (He knows my BioSET practitioner and has a great deal of confidence and respect in and for what she does.)

After a month of worrying about how Alinia will go...its been pretty uneventful.

I never got any horrible die-off or any other problems. The first pill gave me the burning sensations/itching...but the rest of the pills gave me no noticeable reaction...other than fatigue.

I was hoping to see cobra in his grave...I was gonna throw some beef and peas on him. :P

No such luck though...Is it possible he could die and disappear without me ever seeing him??

Since I'm on the C side...I wonder if it might take longer to pass anything....(if there is anything to pass).

I wonder how long it should take for me to notice improvement if the med killed anything off.

dlp252 Apprentice

I bet it's going to take a while. It may not come out in one whole piece either.

so, does BioSET directly show if there's issues with the detox pathways? that'd be great if it could find out if it's blocked up/overwhelmed or whatever

Yes, mine were not the worst she's ever seen (Rachel might be close to having THAT honor, lol), but they were blocked to a certain degree. They were retested a couple of months ago and were okay.

Rpm999 Contributor

i asked rachel, but let me ask this to you too since your illness list looks like an essay LOL

i've said this many times, but i had a cat scan dye (radioactive medicine) and since then i've been really sick, with some things like flushness, sleep issues, increase of neuro issues...even some new things....and that was about a month ago...could a possibly be if i had impaired detox pathways? cause i can't see what else, an allergic reaction would be far gone so it must be still in my system since it's like the same flushness i had when it was injected into me...may sound strange but hey, what can i say...i ALSO first started getting sick much long ago when i had a severe swallowing attack that stir up an acid reflux attack, so it wouldn't surprise me if that could have backed up in places like the liver too and i guess that from the get go could have effected that....i'm just so lost, i was at least going out before i had the dye but it messed me up so bad that i'm just totally out of it and have no clue what it could be/what to ask....but that's the most sensible thing to me at least

Definitely get vitamin D 25(OH)D.  Celiac Disease causes vitamin D deficiency and one of the functions of vitamin D is modulating the genes.  While we can survive with low vitamin D as an adaptation to living in a seasonal environment, the homeostasis is 200 nmol/L.  Vitamin D Receptors are found in nearly every cell with a nucleus, while the highest concentrations are in tissues like the intestine, kidney, parathyroid, and bone.  A cellular communication system, if you will. The vitamin D receptor: contemporary genomic approaches reveal new basic and translational insights  Possible Root Causes of Histamine Intolerance. I forgot to mention my suspicion of the high amount of glyphosate allowed to be used on wheat in USA and NZ and Australia. My weight was 69kg mid-2023, I went down to 60kg in March 2024 and now hover around 63kg (just after winter here in NZ) - wheat-free and very low alcohol consumption.

Hi Jess Thanks so much for your response and apologies for the long delay in answering. I think I must have been waiting for something to happen before I replied and unfortunately it fell off the radar... I have had an upper endoscopy and colonoscopy in the meantime (which revealed 'minor' issues only). Yes I do think histamine intolerance is one of the problems. I have been lowering my histamine intake and feeling a lot better. And I do think it is the liver which is giving the pain. I am currently taking zinc (I have had three low zinc tests now), magnesium, B complex, vitamin E and a calcium/Vitamin C mix. I consciously think about getting vitamin D outside. (Maybe I should have my vitamin D re-tested now...) I am still 100% gluten-free. My current thoughts on the cause of the problems is some, if not all, of the following: Genetically low zinc uptake, lack of vitamin D, wine drinking (alcohol/sulphites), covid, immune depletion, gastroparesis, dysbiosis, leaky gut, inability to process certain foods I am so much better than late 2023 so feel very positive 🙂

Hi and thank you very much for your detailed response! I am so glad that the protocol worked so well for you and helped you to get your health back on track. I've heard of it helping other people too. One question I have is how did you maintain your weight on this diet? I really rely on nuts and rice to keep me at a steady weight because I tend to lose weight quickly and am having a hard time envisioning how to make it work, especially when not being able to eat things like nuts and avocados. In case you have any input, woud be great to hear it! Friendly greetings.
