OMG.....I just toured all of the forums...and the various threads. Those Zeolite ads are only showing up on top of THIS thread.

They're targeting us OMG'ers because they know we're all toxic!!

You wont find zeolite ads above the other topics....I think it's just for us.

OMG...I think I might be on to something! :o

Lisa...other Waiora distributors have their link's up there. Maybe you can ask Scott how you can get your link up there too. That way if anyone wants to purchase the zeolite....you can just say "scroll up to the blue link." :D

Everyone else gets ads for gluten free foods and such. I guess they realize we cant eat that stuff....so instead we get zeolite ads!

Aaaauuuuurrrrrrrrgggghhhh!!! There's that song again!

I only take 15 chlorella tablets right now. I'll be taking 52 on the removal days though. That's a lot of chlorella! :o

The ads are keyword based. Since we talk about zeolite, they are going to show up. You have to pay for those through google.

Its nice to know that we're not being targeted as the "toxic crowd".

I was kind of freaked out that they were only appearing in this thread.

So does this mean that whatever I talk about will be advertised at the top of the page??

Kassandra....something has to be causing the anemia. So maybe if that underlying problem were addressed the situation would improve?? Just a thought.

Yes, I totally agree with you. Dr H is pretty sure it's the babesia, but I've been in babs tx for about 7 months, and nothing has changed. The hematologist wants me to have an endoscopy and colonoscopy to rule out any malabsorption problems and/or internal bleeds. He said that I could have a tiny bleed that is causing this...who knows? But he does want it ruled out. I plan on going to a LLGI soon, but we gotta get my period straigtened out. (4 months of bleeding as of next week! :o )

Hey Kassandra has your gyno checked you for fibroids? I was telling my mom about you and she was curious as to what is going on.

I don't know. I think so, but I don't know how they check for that. If it's through a D&C, ultrasound or hysterocopy, then yes she has checked. :) I see her on Monday for a post op appt and we will go over her findings, etc. and hopefully will come up with a game plan for me.

tabasco32 Apprentice

Yeah my mom had fibroids. I will ask her about what tests her gyno took on her to see how he found out. Did they do a pap on you and turn the speculum sideways? I know sounds painful but I think that's the way you see them.

I've had it done this way and it actually isn't that bad. But I'll as her tomorrow.

How was the wedding? :)

I think they saw my fibroid on a CT scan. I also had ultrasounds during that time but I think they saw it first on the CT scan.

Yep--between the ultrasound and the hysterocopy she has thoroughly checked for fibroids. The hysteroscopy gives a full detailed picture of the inside of the uterus and the ultrasound will catch fibroids both inside and outside of it.

I'll be waiting to hear about your appt. on Monday, Kassandra :)

miamia Rookie
He totally does

I did the same thing with my NAET treatments, I would just fall asleep immediately after, and I would sleep hard. My Dr at the time explained that it was like the circuits were being switched off and then reconnected and turned on again, so yeah, I don't know

Maybe the zeolite is rewiring you as we speak

Rachel-

maybe julies right and it is rewiring you to eat pizza and ice cream

Mia, I hope so!!

I think that should definately be a priority in the whole "rewiring" process.

The brain function stuff can come later....but first things first....pizza and ice cream please!! :D

Wow, you guys have been busy! In the middle of the night, no less! LOL

Just popping in to say hello.

I used my lightworks on my shoulder and it helped .... but it stirred up a lot, too. This might be a good thing, but can't really tell from one day. :D

I don't know. I'm definetly positive that the brain function stuff may come first before pizza and ice cream. Sorry. :(

Have they done a endometrial biopsy? My mom asked me if they did that to you yet.

Did they do a transvaginal ultrasound where they put it up thier or a regular one? Or a colposcopy to look at the cervic area?

If they didn't do these procedures, I'm surprised they haven't.

Well....that might still work since brainfog is one of the worst symptoms. So maybe I'll be able to eat pizza and ice cream without having to retreat into my own world for a few hours. :P

OR...maybe if I'm totally sane and clear headed I actually wont WANT to eat pizza and ice cream! :o

Maybe if I have more common sense...I'll just avoid it altogether!

OMG....that is a horrific thought.

I hope it doesnt come to that.

Yes, you'll definetely will be able to eat pizza and ice cream with no brain fog. But it won't come to you not wanting to eat these things at all. :)

Me either...my love for pizza and ice cream is just too great. :P

Well, I learned that if I have a sulfation problem my OAT results for oxalates would not be reliable. :(

If oxalates in the urine are high....this definately indicates absorption of oxalates from the gut. However, if the levels are low it may not represent the amount of oxalate absorbed from the gut. Its because if there is insufficient sulfate in the system it will impair the kidney's ability to remove oxalate from the blood and into the urine.

So that might be a problem for me because of my issues with sulfation.

I think if my results do not show a problem with oxalates it wont change my mind....I feel that I have enough evidence at this point to convince me that it is a problem. Although it would be nice if for a change I could have verification with the lab results.

Also, even though its definately important to replenish acidophilus and bifidus...they prefer other foods over oxalate....so they are only mediocre at degrading oxalates. The main bacteria for getting this job done is oxalobactor formigenes. It needs oxalate in order to survive...so if there is plenty of this bacteria available a person can eat plenty of high oxalate foods without any problem.

Lots of antibiotics can kill off this oxalate eating bacteria and as of now it is not available in any probiotic. It is currently being developed and will be sold as a drug (and no doubt it will be expensive).

Tetracycline

Doxy

Flagyl

Biaxin

Augmentin

Erythromycin

Chloromycetin

These are just some of the abx which can kill it off. I took the 3 which are highlighted.

Everyone,

Today i had an idea. I was thinking of making a little msn group with the bunch of us this thread, That we could chat about stuff and feel less stressed about posting on here were everyone in the world can read it. We can still talk on here about medical stuff, but when we want to get goofy, we can post it someplace else. I could even work on have an chat room in there. I know carla had trouble last time, but maybe we could figure it out this time lol. We could also talk about swapping supps.

paula

i really hoping asking this isnt breaking any rules. Just let me know if anyone is interested.

@Jane02, I hear you about the kale and collard greens.  I don't do dairy and must eat green leafies, too, to get sufficient calcium.  I must be very careful because some calcium supplements are made from ground up crustacean shells.  When I was deficient in Vitamin D, I took high doses of Vitamin D to correct the deficiency quickly.  This is safe and nontoxic.  Vitamin D level should be above 70 nmol/L.  Lifeguards and indigenous Pacific Islanders typically have levels between 80-100 nmol/L.   Levels lower than this are based on amount needed to prevent disease like rickets and osteomalacia. We need more thiamine when we're physically ill, emotionally and mentally stressed, and if we exercise like an athlete or laborer.  We need more thiamine if we eat a diet high in simple carbohydrates.  For every 500 kcal of carbohydrates, we need 500-1000 mg more of thiamine to process the carbs into energy.  If there's insufficient thiamine the carbs get stored as fat.  Again, recommended levels set for thiamine are based on minimum amounts needed to prevent disease.  This is often not adequate for optimum health, nor sufficient for people with absorption problems such as Celiac disease.  Gluten free processed foods are not enriched with vitamins like their gluten containing counterparts.  Adding a B Complex and additional thiamine improves health for Celiacs.  Thiamine is safe and nontoxic even in high doses.  Thiamine helps the mitochondria in cells to function.  Thiamine interacts with each of the other B vitamins.  They are all water soluble and easily excreted if not needed. Thank you so much @knitty kitty for this insightful information! I would have never considered fractionated coconut oil to be a potential source of GI upset. I will consider all the info you shared. Very interesting about the Thiamine deficiency.  I've tracked daily averages of my intake in a nutrition software. The only nutrient I can't consistently meet from my diet is vitamin D. Calcium is a hit and miss as I rely on vegetables, dark leafy greens as a major source, for my calcium intake. I'm able to meet it when I either eat or juice a bundle of kale or collard greens daily haha. My thiamine intake is roughly 120% of my needs, although I do recognize that I may not be absorbing all of these nutrients consistently with intermittent unintentional exposures to gluten.  My vitamin A intake is roughly 900% (~6400 mcg/d) of my needs as I eat a lot of sweet potato, although since it's plant-derived vitamin A (beta-carotene) apparently it's not likely to cause toxicity.  Thanks again!

Hello, @Jane02,  I take Naturewise D 3.  It contains olive oil.   Some Vitamin D supplements, like D Drops, are made with fractionated coconut oil which can cause digestive upsets.  Fractionated coconut oil is not the same as coconut oil used for cooking.  Fractionated coconut oil has been treated for longer shelf life, so it won't go bad in the jar, and thus may be irritating to the digestive system. I avoid supplements made with soy because many people with Celiac Disease also react to soy.  Mixed tocopherols, an ingredient in Thornes Vitamin D, may be sourced from soy oil.  Kirkland's has soy on its ingredient list. I avoid things that might contain or be exposed to crustaceans, like Metagenics says on its label.  I have a crustacean/shellfish/fish allergy.  I like Life Extension Bioactive Complete B Complex.  I take additional Thiamine B 1 in the form Benfotiamine which helps the intestines heal, Life Extension MegaBenfotiamine. Thiamine is needed to activate Vitamin D.   Low thiamine can make one feel like they are getting glutened after a meal containing lots of simple carbohydrates like white rice, or processed gluten free foods like cookies and pasta.   It's rare to have a single vitamin deficiency.  The water soluble B Complex vitamins should be supplemented together with additional Thiamine in the form Benfotiamine and Thiamine TTFD (tetrahydrofurfuryl disulfide) to correct subclinical deficiencies that don't show up on blood tests.  These are subclinical deficiencies within organs and tissues.  Blood is a transportation system.  The body will deplete tissues and organs in order to keep a supply of thiamine in the bloodstream going to the brain and heart.   If you're low in Vitamin D, you may well be low in other fat soluble vitamins like Vitamin A and Vitamin K. Have you seen a dietician?

I do not know this, but since they are labelled gluten-free, and are not really a product that could easily be contaminated when making them (there would be not flour in the air of such a facility, for example), I don't really see contamination as something to be concerned about for this type of product.
