In my local Stop and Shop the neopets cereal is 50% off right now because it is being discontinued. Does anyone know if it is Stop and Shop or the manufacturer discontinuing it? I finally found a cereal my daughter loves that is gluten free and now its leaving me.

I have yet to see this cearl in any store, so I hate to say it... but thats nto a good sign.

Have you tried the Envirokids cerals? My son loves them.

Unfortunatly those cereals come and go. Its the flavor of the week basically. It happened with other "cartoon" cereals. They make them while the character is popular and then they change to the next one. I used to work in a grocery store. It has been this way for years. The only thing I can tell you is to watch for the next one.. it will show up eventually.

I have seen it before at Meijer, but never did buy it. I will have to see if it is still there next time I go.

I agree....cereals like this come and go. I can always depend on my Cocoa Pebbles, though. :)

      Welcome to the forum, @yellowstone! The most common ones seem to be dairy (casein), oats, eggs, soy and corn. "Formed" meat products (because of the "meat glue" used to hold their shape) is a problem for some. But it can be almost anything on an individual basis as your sensitivity to rice proves, since rice is uncommonly a "cross reactor" for celiacs. Some celiacs seem to not do well with any cereal grains.

      What foods can trigger a response in people with gluten sensitivity? I've read that there are foods that, although they don't contain gluten, can cause problems for people with gluten sensitivity because they contain proteins similar to gluten that trigger a response in the body. I've seen that other cereals are included: corn, rice... also chicken, casein. I would like to know what other foods can cause this reaction, and if you have more information on the subject, I would like to know about it. Right now, I react very badly to rice and corn. Thank you.

      Shingles is dormant and related to chicken pox when one has had in the past.Shingles comes out when stress is heightened.I had my 3rd Shingles in 2023.
