Cold Stone Creamery - Yum!

Hi everyone. I just discovered Cold Stone Creamery. They have a great comprehensive list of all their icecreams and toppings. It shows which icecreams have certain allergens, including gluten, nuts, soy, msg, dairy, etc. Most are gluten free. They put the icecream on a frozen table where other icecreams may have been, so I asked them to put mine directly in the cup. Yumm!!! They use the table to fold in toppings or just mix the icecream up. Just ask for your toppings on top. They have some locations in Boston, but I know they are in other areas also.

When I could eat dairy, we went there often. I always asked them to use a clean scoop because of the flavors that have wheat and the cones.

Some of their candies are listed as containing gluten that don't, like, I think M&M's. But I'd rather them be extra cautious and make a mistake that way because of their uncertainty. I never got mix-ins.

Great ice cream!!

Love Coldstones!!!

I always have the banana ice cream, with peanut butter and m&m's. :D

Check out there website, they list the nutritional info.

I went there a few weekends ago. I told the young girl behind the counter about what I couldn't have and she was wonderful So was the ice cream. A funny side, I went with three others and when I brought my bowl to the table it was double the size of theirs and they said they should have told them they had celiac. YUM :P

I've been to afraid to go to Coldstone because of how they mix everything on the slab. What if the person before me gets something with Oreos or something? I'll stick with Haagen Dazs and Ben & Jerry's.

Jillian,

I've only been there once, but when I told them what I needed, they got a separate, clean bowl to mix mine.

They offered to either clean the stone or mix mine on a separate platter. I don't like mix-ins, so it was irrelevant, but they did offer.

Just watch them when they mix it. My son had a small nut reaction from Cold Stone Creamery and he had no nuts. Must have been residue on the stone.

we either take our Cerrone cones with us to Coldstone or get it in the cups and just ask for a clean scoop and have it scooped directly into the cup and the toppings on top... no probs... and MMMMMMM YUMMMMMMMY

I don't know what I would do if I had to give up Coldstone.

I had to give up casein ... so I switched to Haagen Dazs chocolate sorbet.

Just a thought... Not to argue, but isn't that like asking someone to use a clean knife when they spread your butter or mayo on your bread? Isn't there still a chance of cc in the ice cream from the "old" scoop? I have never eaten there. Just wondering....

Almost all their ice creams are gluten free except the ones with cookies and such. I check the ice cream and if I see any other kinds have gotten in I don't get that one. Also, someone said you can ask them to get it from the back. Anyway I have had no problems.

"Conclusions: The urinary iodine level was significantly lower in women with postmenopausal osteoporosis, and iodine replacement may be important in preventing osteoporosis"  Body iodine status in women with postmenopausal osteoporosis Low iodine can cause thyroid problems, but Iodine deficiency will not show up in thyroid tests.  Iodine is important for healing, its job is to kill off defective and aging cells (Apoptosis). Skin, brain fog, nails, muscle tone all inproved when I started taking 600 mcg (RDA 150 - 1000 mcg) of Liquid Iodine drops. Some with dermatitis herpetiformis, Iodine exacerbates the rash.  I started at 1 drop (50 mcg) and worked up to 12 drops, but I don't have dermatitis herpetiformis.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience and I found myself giggling with happiness as I read how your body reached such spring! And I hope that your current journey is also successful!! Definitely starting the food diary! So many amazing advices. And it’s very scary. It really hits all our soft spots as well as our confidence system. Most doctors I went thought I was underage despite being in my late 20s. Right now I look like am I twelve, but is also this body that’s taking so much, so I might as well love it too! Going to make the necessary changes and stay in this path. Thank you again! 🫶

Thank you so much for the information and kind message! Reading this transformed how I’ve been viewing my efforts and progress. Guess there’s still a lot to celebrate and also heal 😌  Yes, I’ve been taking it! Just recently started taking a multivitamin supplement and separated vitamin D! I also took chewable Iron polymaltose for ferritin deficiency 2 months ago but was unable to absorb any of it.  Thank you again! Hearing such gentle words from the community makes my body and heart more patient and excited for the future.
