I am wondering what everyone else does about this. I LOVED eating fettuccini alfredo before being diagnosed, and i know that most restaurants use flour in their recipes. Does anyone have a good recipe for a creamy white sauce that's gluten-free? And how have you used it? Thanks all!

I just buy classico alfredo sauce. All of their red and white sauces are gluten-free. It is yummy!! I usually add a bunch of mushrooms to the sauce mmmmmmm

I never use flour in my Alfredo sauce. You just have to use lots of heavy cream and cheese. It is really fattening, but really yummy! The cream should thicken as you cook it. Like someone else said check www.allrecipes.com. There are some great recipes there!

My daughter has made me a yummy alfredo sauce from cooks.com. Just type in spaghetti alfredo. It should be the first recipe that comes up. It is very easy and tastes great....she is only 11 and finds it easy!!!!

A real Alfredo sauce has no flour.

Use 1 cup heavy cream, 1/4 cup butter and simmer until thickened and reduced by about half. Add a dash of nutmeg and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Toss with your noodles and top with freshly grated parmesan. It's delish!

      Shingles is dormant and related to chicken pox when one has had in the past.Shingles comes out when stress is heightened.I had my 3rd Shingles in 2023.

      Oats naturally contain a protein called avenin, which is similar to the gluten proteins found in wheat, barley, and rye.
