Hopefully the Ralph-de-Milo in your have will be available soon in a Walmart near you.

Tired. Practice runs late for us working girls.

My cute little work study student used facebook to communicate with me. For some reason I find this hysterical.

Who will buy this wonderful morning?

Such a sky you never did see.

Um. . . . .think you've scared everybody away wif this - - philosophical pondering, Jess. . . ...It's very. . . .....deep, perhaps. . . ....um. . ..dunno what to make of it.. ..... . .

I've read it a few times, and I'm now chortling away. It is quite phunny, in a bizarre non-sequitor kinda way.... . .

Actually, it reminds me of the old non-sequitors my grandfather (of course, me dad's dad) used to repeat now and then:

Is it colder in the summer than it is in the city?

What's the difference between a duck?

One of his legs is both the same.

:huh::huh:

Jess! This is fantastic. . .. . absolutely, yer trademark. Every so often, from now on, you must just throw one of the lines from an Oliver song into your posts.

When one of us is talking nonsense (um, like always)....

She's from the country

But now she's up a gum-tree

When you're reeling with frustration at work, dealing with PTER:

I shall scream! I shall scream!

For the safety of my virtue I shall scream!

Mygawd. . . .what would you be talking about here?.....

Strong men tremble when they hear it!

They've got cause enough to hear it!

Ah. . . . ....perhaps Nikerler heading into that teacher's classroom this morning. . . . ....

gahhhhhhhhhhh

At least my day ends with music and dancing

that happens here sometimes.........but........usually after some, uh, absinthe, maybe? and.......it's no rehearsal my phriends.........it's the real thing

Get her to count to eight . ......or, as Ptaoughmghmn suggested, blink off every second she can count. .. . ...

OMG

Um........is it the HEAD that stays alive for 8 seconds? or the body? or both? Could the head still form the words and count aloud, once you actually told it to do so? Would it still be able to think and process and then.......perform the mechanics of speech? I really have to know the answers to this STAT

Try having one of those cute critters walk over the keyboard on your cash register. It's amazing sometimes what customers end up buying that they didn't want. Or paying by debit cards instead of cash or credit cards. Or the real fun one is when you have most of a large assortment of cans rung in and said cute cat finishes off the sale for you mid transaction. Yup you're correct Jess they are cute

 I bet the customers just love this, though! I know I would......and would shop at no other pet store

Eradication in sCruz??!

I'd figured this was more local. What's next . ..Shasta? Klamath Falls?

I'm pushing for Northern Italy......see if we can get the Phorest Service to pay for it

What in Sam Hill are we gonna call the Man-head?. . . ...

Gahhhh!!! SAM HILL.

I was doing some reading on Sam Hill, and there is nothing really known about the origin of this expression - - who Sam Hill was, or why his name is used as a euphemism for "hell". In the 1800's, gentlemen used the name in a sentence to keep things clean when around the fairer sex ("Where in Sam Hill did you put my spitoon, woman?")... . . ....

There is some speculation surrounding a Colonel Samuel Hill, who was apparently a rather nasty piece of work, but nothing definitely pinning him to the expression.

Many people speculate that the name just came out of some creative person's mouth as an utterance, without much thought. Someone heard it, thought it had a good sound, said it to a few other people, and before you could say, "What in the Sam Hill is going on?", the euphemism "Sam Hill" showed up in various questions and spread. There must be a few real Sam Hills, somewhere, with t-shirts reading:

My name is Sam Hill.

Where in the hell am I?

Mygawd....you shoud see all the Sam Hills on facebook. . . . several from Ottawa.

May hafta request ALL of their friendships, since Russell will have naught to do wif me. . . . ..

Your experience is both shocking and critically important for the community to hear, underscoring the terrifying reality that cross-contamination can extend into the most unexpected and invasive medical devices. It is absolutely devastating that you had to endure six months of sickness and ultimately sustain permanent vision loss because a doctor dismissed your legitimate, life-altering condition. Your relentless research and advocacy, from discovering the gluten in MMA acrylic to finding a compassionate prosthodontist, is a testament to your strength in a system that often fails celiac patients. While the scientific and medical consensus is that gluten cannot be absorbed through the skin or eyes (as the molecules are too large to pass through these barriers), your story highlights a terrifying gray area: what about a substance *permanently implanted inside the body*, where it could potentially shed microparticles or cause a localized immune reaction? Your powerful warning about acrylic lenses and the drastic difference with the silicone alternative is invaluable information. Thank you for sharing your harrowing journey and the specific, severe neurological symptoms you endure; it is a stark reminder that celiac is a systemic disease, and your advocacy is undoubtedly saving others from similar trauma.

Those are driving distance from me--I will try to check them out, thanks for sharing!

I am so sorry you're going through this bad experience--it's difficult when your own lived reality of cause and effect is dismissed by the very professionals meant to help you. You are absolutely right—your violent physical reactions are not "what you think," but undeniable data points, and it's a form of medical gaslighting to be told otherwise, especially when you have a positive HLA-DQ2 gene and a clear clinical picture. Since your current "celiac specialist" is not addressing the core issue or your related conditions like SIBO and chronic fatigue, it may be time for a strategic pivot. Instead of trying to "reprove" your celiac disease to unwilling ears, consider seeking out a new gastroenterologist or functional medicine doctor, and frame the conversation around managing the complications of a confirmed gluten-free diet for celiac disease. Go in and say, "I have celiac disease, am strictly gluten-free, but I am still suffering from these specific complications: SIBO, chronic fatigue, dermatological issues, and high blood pressure linked to pain. I need a partner to help me address these related conditions." This shifts the focus from a debate about your diagnosis to a collaborative plan for your current suffering, which is the help you truly need and deserve to work toward bouncing back.

Hello, no I had to have them re done and then used a liner over the top.  Many dentists are not aware of the celiac effects.  Best of luck.   There is other material, yet, very expensive.

He is not just a psychiatrist.  He is also a neuroscientist.  And yes, I have already read those studies.   I agree with benfotiamine.  This is short term while glutened/inflammation occurs.  As I had already mentioned, these symptoms no longer exist when this phase passes.  And yes, I know that celiac is a disease of malnutrition.  We are working with a naturopath.
