Every Saturday and Sunday....

Last night I came home and decorated 60 cupcakes and a 4 tiered round, so that kept me away from DH last night, this morning I said the magic words "Amelia is having her 2nd birthday party today, you want to go with me and the kids to the Children's Museum all day?" As expected, I got a big fat "NO!" One day of this weekend down, one more to go

Him:"Watcha doin?"........"ummm...Dishes." .....

Yeah, like maybe he should try it sometime!!!

Things they don't recognize:

Sophie is, right now, playing for the gold medal. Her team has won every game they've played in the tourney -- 6 in all, and this is the final matchup, between Nepean and Kingston. I was there for two games yesterday and one today, and drove home mid-afternoon and DH headed down as I was coming home. In fact, we passed each other on the highway. He called me on my cell and said, "okay.... .....I'm about thirty kilometres from the highway 138 turn-off....how far have you come?"

And I replied, "I am quite close to the 417........we're about to meet in two minutes!"

He said, "See you in a bit. You could flash me as I go by"... . .....

As I careully watched the approaching cars over the next few hundred metres (because I certainly wanted to target the right one), I suddenly saw him coming over the next embankment. I waited....waited.....honked as we were about to pass one another.... . . . .and just stuck my tongue out at him
