Is it humid there? I bet we have approx the same weather. How are your winters?

Not really humid. Winters are usually in the 40's. A few days/nights below freezing, but it's rare. Lot's of rain in the winter/spring, less in the summer/autumn. A couple days ago we had a hard rainstorm and I just read that our 0.7 inch broke records for that day.

Oh you've got it much better than we do! Lol it's been 80's or higher with humidity lately. It rained most of the spring, and the temps will begin to drop at night soon...fall is coming :-/ temps will be highs of 40-60 in fall and 20-below 0 all winter with TONS O SNOW....weather's been so weird here but it's nice having 4 separate seasons I guess lol

When I was growing up in Michigan, I always thought I'd live in Mainee when I grew up. I ended up in Florida, and don't know why.

Don't suppose you've heard of tiny Arcadia, in Manistee County, MI?

Used to go near there every summer as a kid.

Exactly like Vancouver BC........fantastic winters, but spring and autumn are pretty grey and wet....

We've got that level 2 drought that has gripped the eastern States....the grass everywhere is yellow and crunchy.....no watering stuff.....crops are in big trouble.

Must head out today and perform my rain dance. B)

Grass is quite crispy here, too. Supposed to be 101 today and a little hotter everyday after this. We must be getting used to it. We thought 90 last night was nice weather. :blink:

67 today. no rain. think I'll pressure wash the front concrete.

They say my email is wrong. It reverts to the one I had in NJ. I guess the universe is telling me to save $

P.S. Our son used his hard earned $ to buy us Springsteen tickets. Now I just have to get better!

Springsteen will be an awesome show!! I was super pumped when I won tickets to the Happy Together Tour this weekend, the Turtles,mikee of the Monkees, grass roots, and more! Should be a good time!! ????

I'm sure it will be great, I love the oldies anyway! You'll have to let me know how The Springsteen show is! He's coming to Moncton, NB soon I think, which isn't far from me, I could catch it perhaps! ?

      A low tTG is great news, but it doesn’t always mean the small intestine has fully healed yet—iron and vitamin D absorption can lag behind for months or even years, especially in young children. Many kids need supplements for a period of time while the gut repairs itself, and that doesn’t necessarily mean it will be lifelong. Morning stomach pain is also commonly reported in celiac kids and can be related to slow healing, reflux, motility, or even low iron itself. It sounds like the supplements are clearly helping, which is reassuring, and ongoing monitoring with her doctor can help determine when (or if) doses can be reduced as absorption improves. The most common nutrient deficiencies associated with celiac disease that may lead to testing for the condition include iron, vitamin D, folate (vitamin B9), vitamin B12, calcium, zinc, and magnesium.  Unfortunately many doctors, including my own doctor at the time, don't do extensive follow up testing for a broad range of nutrient deficiencies, nor recommend that those just diagnosed with celiac disease take a broad spectrum vitamin/mineral supplement, which would greatly benefit most, if not all, newly diagnosed celiacs.
