Richard: Tell me about your picture, it's way too funny!:lol::lol::lol:

I had some Enchilada Soup (gluten-free) earlier in the week. It was very good, but it raised hell further down the turnpike. The picture is pretty much how I felt

OUCH THAT HURTS!

Richard- I am always telling my husband about the hilariously demented pictures you post. He wants to know if we're having a cyber-affair :P

I told him no, that we are trying to figure out if we're related!

"what's her name?"

I had to do some esplainin'...turns out she was busting my chops <_<

Now I feel dirty :P

BTW - I posted a "LOST" whole epi. spoiler on the lost-aholics thread if you are interested and weak of will like me :)

Heck, I'm displaying such self control not opening your 'Lost thread' (much as I want to)

I'm in the UK and the 2nd series has just ended- and I'm still none the wiser

Me thinks the producers are going to string me along in series 3 too (patience, patience  )

BTW - How do you like my first attempt at a G.F birthday cake for my son (who was dx last week) in my Avatar?

Hey, that buttercream hides a multitude of sins (not to mention pretty paper round the edges):lol::lol:

...my son liked it though, and it tastes much better than it looks!!

:lol::lol::lol::lol: Oh you are SO goign to get busted if she finds you in the 40-something female thread.....

let's see.....I'll take the first guy in all those photos, he has excellent muscles and looks like he'd be good at digging - his lawnmower will not fit through the back gate, however....

Nikki - I don't even think I"ve acknowledged the fact that your son is Celiac!! Wow! I don't know what to say here ....is it congratulations, or, I'm sorry? But the cake looks really good! Oh, and I am not sure about this either, but did something happen to your kitty?

Julie - how are you today?

Bev - related to Richard?

oh my gaaawd - - - that Peabody and Sherman.....what show was that? my little bro and I watched it all the time......that was surrreal, seeing that again.....takes me back to a time of lots of rough-housing and crazy physical violence with my brothers (I pulled my little bro's arm out of the socket - TWICE - and he was a tiny, fragile thing with a congenital heart defect - - - -:ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r: ) but we also had lots of fun together and did enjoy our silly cartoons together........he hates me now :lol: (just kidding)

oh, BTW the violence stopped when he was about 16 and punched me in the jaw, I saw stars and briefly blacked out :lol::lol:

Richard--wishful, sinful, wicked you. Imagine you having friends and gluten-free ones that are also women, how could you. Such a disgrace, your wife must have thought you were the only gluten-free person in the universe. We know that you are just using Celiac to flirt with all of us. We all know how stimulating a discussion on poop can be. She will think we are all talking in code when we use words like dh and gas.

It was a "filler" show on Rocky & Bullwinkle between the main cartoons.

My sister and I brawled also. One time she got her braces hooked on a the couch and couldn't get loose! :P I seem to remember getting in a heap of trouble for that

You're right. She just doesn't like anything about poop, and likes talking about it even less. I guess this place fills that (GIANT) void in my life :P

oh my gawd - my brother adn I had a braces incident - we were in the pool (with the lawn furniture, we got busted for that) and I pushed off the side, really hard, underwater - rammed my mouth into his knee - my top braces slid down and were halfway off - - - to this day they think I was doing it to hurt my brother, who had a nice cut on his knee - IT"S A LIE

We didn't discuss the need to talk openly about our bowel movements during the pre-marriage counseling sessions. Imagine that!

I'm actually Bev's husband (nobody tell her)

As for not being a Celiac...do I need to change my Avatar back to flaming *ssman?

We know his type, we are just passions gluten-free playthings to him..

Let's face it poop may be a crappy subject but if you can't discuss it with the one you are married to then what is left in life.

Whatever was wrong with that counsellor for not bringing it up? How did they ever get their certificate? That is number one in counselling because money problems never out rank bowel movements. Blasphemy I tell you.

Hello, I was very stick,  with flu like symptoms, but my virus panel came back negative and we couldn’t figure out what’s going on. The doctor then added a celiac panel.  Has anyone ever had such a dramatic change?  What are the odds this is true celiac I am going to have an endoscopy, but it’s expensive and I just feel like why can’t the labs be enough?

Eating out in general is full of risks, but this article may help:
    • trents
This kind of question is always difficult to give a definitive answer to because of so many variables. One such variable is the sensitivity of the individual celiac to small amounts of gluten cross contamination. An amount that causes a reaction in one celiac many not in another, or at least not be discernable which, of course, does not exactly equate to being "safe".

I don't live in the US, but based on this thread, I wouldn't risk it:   https://www.reddit.com/r/glutenfree/comments/1n2ehw8/cracker_barrel/   This app is helpful: https://www.findmeglutenfree.com/

I see that Cracker Barrel restaurants have a gluten free menu (not all locations, but one confirmed that they do). I was wondering if it is safe for my 5 year old son with celiac disease?
