Living in the year 2006

1. You accidentally enter your password on the

microwave.

2. You haven't played Solitaire with real cards in

years. (guilty)

3. You have a list of 15 phone numbers to reach

your family of 3.

4. You e-mail the person who works at the desk

next to you. (guilty again)

5. Your reason for not staying in touch with

friends and family is that they don't have e-mail

addresses.

6. You pull up in your own driveway and use

your cell phone to see if anyone is home to help

you carry in the groceries. (really guilty)

7. Every commercial on television has a web site

at the bottom of the screen.

8. Leaving the house without your cell phone,

which you didn't have the first 20 or 30 (or 60)

years of your life, is now a cause for panic and

you turn around to go and get it.

10. You get up in the morning and go on line

before getting your coffee.

11. You start tilting your head sideways to smile. : )

12. You know exactly to whom you are going to

send a copy of this message.

13. You are too busy to notice there was no #9 on

this list.

14. You actually scrolled back up to check that

there wasn't a #9 on this list.

OK-that's too funny! Contrary to my kids belief, dinosaurs did not roam the earth when I was a kid! (Although I think my dad killed the last one for Thanksgiving dinner when I was about 9-haha) :P

And my son thought when I was young Adam and Eve were there.

That means I must be younger than you, by a smidging.

Guilty of going on computer before work.

Have always tiltled my head sideways, so I was ready for that phone!

Oats naturally contain a protein called avenin, which is similar to the gluten proteins found in wheat, barley, and rye. While avenin is generally considered safe for most people with celiac disease, some individuals, around 5-10% of celiacs, may also have sensitivity to avenin, leading to symptoms similar to gluten exposure. You may fall into this category, and eliminating them is the best way to figure this out. Some people substitute gluten-free quinoa flakes for oats if they want a hot cereal substitute. If you are interested in summaries of scientific publications on the topic of oats and celiac disease, we have an entire category dedicated to it which is here: https://www.celiac.com/celiac-disease/oats-and-celiac-disease-are-they-gluten-free/
