I LOVE to eat Japanese Hibachi especially for the soup and salad. i love the ginger dressing.

I just realized that this recipe is gluten free so I am excited to pass it along. sorry in advance if this is a duplicate recipe:

Ginger Dressing:

1/4 c chopped Onion

1/4 c Veg Oil

2 Tbs Rice Wine Vinegar

1 Tbs Water

1 Tbs Ginger (i use tubed ginger or a chunk of fresh ginger)

1 Tbs Celery

1 Tbs Tamari

1 1/2 Tomatoe Paste (or ketchup)

1 1/2 tsp Sugar

1 tsp lemon juice

1/2 tsp salt

toss all in a food processor and pulse until smooth- or blend in blender until smooth. It will still have a slightly grainy/lump texture. spoon as much or little as you like in a salad bowl with salad and toss.

:D -breann-

edit: i loved to eat japanese prior to going gluten-free- but am not brave enough to eat out there yet.

It sounds wonderful. I would just like to add to make sure that your Tamari is WHEAT FREE, as not all are. I am deff gonna try this one. :D

Thanks for posting breann

I make pretty much the same dressing but with lime juice instead of the lemon, and I also add some chopped pickled sushi ginger.

I'm getting hungry....

Going on a cruise next week and I’m a celiac. Bought a bottle of GliandinX. Should I just take two tablets per day as a precaution? Never tried this before!! Any help is appreciated!!

Good point, as thyroid conditions are more common in those with celiac disease: https://www.celiac.com/celiac-disease/celiac-disease-amp-related-diseases-and-disorders/thyroid-pancreatic-disorders-and-celiac-disease/
