Just checked it out this weekend. They have certified gluten free crust that you would SWEAR was real. No issues at all. They seem to be careful about CC too.

Anyone in the Philly area - thought you'd want to know.

Thanks kbabe... That may actually be worth making a trip all the way to Doylestown.

How far are you from there? We're only about 20 minutes (well, if you don't account for me getting lost!). They have a "fly by" service so you kind of order ahead, drive thru and pick it up. They have a website too, I should have posted that with the original post. It's Open Original Shared Link

I think I may ask them if they sell the dough uncooked :D LOL.

We're over an hour and a half away from there. I Mapquest-ed it last night. Still may be worth a trip out there.

Angie-That is so funny, I map-quested it too...I am trying to find other places in that area I want to visit too, helps to convince John if I have lots of places to go.

Maybe for a Saturday outing???

It looked like the area it was in was really cool and had lots of shops and stuff so it could definitely be a day trip.

I hope you like it as much as we did.

I've been several times as I work in Doylestown and live about 15 min. from here. Their pizzas are quite pricey, I think, and almost all the ones I've had... the crust was burned around the edges to about 1/2 to 3/4 inches in.

I buy frozen crusts from Mr. Ritz in Phila. and make my own.

Wow. Ours was fine, not burnt at all.

YEs, it was pricey....wouldn't do it on an every week basis. But...the prices are right on the website. No more pricey than a regular pizza joint, I felt. We have a ton of pizza places around us, we spent no more money that we have at them. OBVIOUSLY, not a domino's.

There's a museum right around the corner from the pizza place called the Mercer Museum. Google it. My husband says he's been there and it was really cool. He said it's pretty big and not exactly a traditional museum. Maybe John would be into that???

We loved Jules.... My hubby who is not celiac ate the pizza too & loved it. In my gluten days I never ate thin crust but I really liked theirs. It was under $20.00 for a two topping pizza. I even had a nuked piece the next day & it was still yummy. And it was not burned at all.

Guhlia I'll meet you for pizza!!!!!! For me its a 6 1/2 hour trip.....

We also liked the Ted Montana Grill in center city... Our server was so helpful when I told him I had to advoid gluten . He knew all about it & was so careful... the manager even came over to our table to make sure all was okay.He said he gets alot of celiac people.

Another place I loved was Sazon... they have a celiac followering too..

There is a place in Easton Pa. also that is fabulous. Can't remember the name. Is that closer to you??

Guhlia Rising Star

Where's Easton? What's the place called? I think Easton is further than Doylestown, but I'm really not sure. I'm willing to drive pretty far though for a gluten free meal that's relatively safe. I can always find something to make a day trip out of the excursion.

I will have to ask John about the museum, he is pretty easy going. I drag him to every lighthouse when we go to the shore and he is not into that kind of stuff but he does it for me. We should all meet at Jules one weekend.

Easton is by Allentown. Not sure if it is closer than Jules. I want to go back to Whole Foods one day and get those biscuits....yum! $$$$ but yumm!!!

I take both Benfotiamine and TTFD.   You might want to start with the Benfotiamine for a few days and then add in the TTFD.   You can look for NeuroMag (Magnesium Threonate).  A magnesium glycinate is fine, too.  Doctor's Best is a good brand.  Don't take more than 300mg total per day of magnesium or it may have a laxative effect.   Be sure to take the B Complex.  The Benfotiamine and TTFD will need the other B vitamins.

Life Extension Benfotiamine with Thiamine has 100MG of Ben and 25 of Thia..... Do you think this is the one I should take or Objective Nutrients Thiamax (TTFD) which has 100MG Thiamine. How much magnesium should I look for? I take the womens 50+ multivitamin since consumerlabs stated and tested that it has the right amount of vitamins and not too much for men and doesn't have BHT which has shown to cause liver cancer in animals. I was never big with multivitamins as well as doctors I just read when I was first going gluten free to take a multi but I think I will stop them and work on trying the super B Thia and Ben, Mag.

Hi all I’ve been celiac for 4 years now, I’ve done pretty well to avoid it thus far. Last night I took the wrong pizza out of the freezer and ate the whole lot!! The non gluten and gluten pizza boxes are both very similar.   2 hours later I was throwing up violently on my hands and knees over the loo.  .horrendous stomach pains,  My hair was wet from sweat every part of my body was wet. What an awful experience, just had a bad headache today  fortunately.    Is their any products/pills anyone takes if they have realised they have just been glutened to make the symptoms a little less worse.  thanks

Yes, do take your B Complex with Benfotiamine or Thiamax.  Thiamine interacts with each of the other B vitamins in the B Complex to make energy and enzymes, so best to take them together earlier in your day.  Taking them too close to bedtime can keep you too energetic to go to sleep.   The Life Extension Benfotiamine with Thiamine is Benfotiamine and Thiamine Hydrochloride, another form of thiamine the body likes.  The Thiamine HCl just helps the Benfotiamine work better.   Read the label for how many milligrams are in them.  The Mega Benfotiamine is 250 mgs.  Another Benfothiamine has 100 mgs.  You might want to start with the 100 mg.    I like to take Thiamax in the morning with a B Complex at breakfast.  I take the Benfotiamine with another meal.  You can take your multivitamin with Benfotiamine at lunch.   Add a magnesium supplement, too.  Thiamine needs magnesium to make some important enzymes.  Life Extension makes Neuro-Mag, Magnesium Threonate, which is really beneficial.  (Don't take Magnesium Oxide.  It's not absorbed well, instead it pulls water into the digestive tract and is used to relieve constipation.)  I'm not a big fan of multivitamins because they don't always dissolve well in our intestines, and give people a false sense of security.  (There's videos on how to test how well your multivitamin dissolves.).  Multivitamins don't prevent deficiencies and aren't strong enough to correct deficiencies.   I'm happy you are trying Thiamax and Benfotiamine!  Keep us posted on your progress!  I'm happy to answer any questions you may have.

I looked further into Thiamax Vitamin B1 by objective nutrients and read all the great reviews. I think I will give this a try. I noticed only possible side affect is possibly the first week so body adjusts. Life Extensions carries Benfotiamine with Thiamine and the mega one you mentioned. Not sure if both in one is better or seperate. some reviews state a laxative affect as side affect. SHould I take with my super B complex or just these 2 and multivitamin? I will do further research but I appreciate the wonderful explanation you provided on Thiamine.
