I've been looking for some low fat (I cant tolerate oil all that well, that's why low fat is a better option) bread and I can't find ANY in the stores so I'm trying to find online gluten-free stores, or stores that sell gluten free products online. Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks for the kinnickinnick reccomendations.

Anyone have any other reccomendations? online sources, brands, stores?

I know I can't get away from the fats and the oils. I'm just going to have to be brave and cross my fingers with that one. LoL. So obviously I'm going to end up buying a bread with *some* in it...I would just like to find one with as little as possible.

I haven't tried any of these mixes yet, but they look interesting:

They have no fat in them. I don't know the baking instructions so they may call for adding some. I guess you could call the company and ask. Even if oil is called for, you might be able to cut back on it (even eliminate it) or use a fat substitute like Wonderslim. Of course, if you are only dealing with a little oil, not much will be in each slice of bread.

can't speak to oil content, but their french rolls are amazing! Fast ship and reasonable prices too.

The website shows the ingredients.

I just bought some flax seed bread that tastes better than regular bread! It is soo good. I put butter and garlic on it and it tastes GREAT! It is good by itself and to make sandwiches with. It was from the gluten free mall.

Absolutely my point with Kerrigan, the owner. She stood to secure many years of faithful patronage by simply inviting us in for a pastry or lunch. Or by simply producing another $50 e-card based on trust. We would have been highly satisfied. We are limited to a few restaurants in the area, and that would have been one. It was very disappointing, esp to my wife, to realize we can't patronize the place anymore.

You would think any business would see the wisdom of honoring a $50 gift certificate on the basis of customer satisfaction alone, apart from any questions about software glitches.

So there was no physical, plastic card involved, correct?

When my wife attempted to open the online card in the store with a cashier, it would not work. We then showed the owner the link to the card, the online receipt that I got upon purchase, and even my bank statement confirming the purchase. That did not satisfy her, since she said she needed the link to open to reveal the gift ID num. They even admitted they had a systems problem around that time.
