Can any one tell me if these liquers are gluten free. Grand Marnia(sp), kahlua, triple sec, Frangelica?

In my pocket Clan Thompson guide, the following are shown as gluten-free: Disaronno; Drambuie; Kahlua, Kahlua Vanilla, Kahlua Hazelnut, from Pernod Ricard (ummm, I haven't tried the second two -- yum); Newport Blue Curacao, Amaretto, Peppermint Schnapps, Sloe Gin, Green Creme de Menthe, from Boisset America; Paul Masson Creme Liquer (chocolate hazelnut or mocha caramel -- hmm, I wonder if they are casein-free?); St. George Aqua Perfecta Raspberry Liquor and Pear Liquor (yum once again). Of course, others could be gluten-free, too. They just list the ones they've checked. Nothing is shown that has gluten.

Frankly, I haven't heard anywhere of any liquers containing gluten. If you have a favorite, you can always contact the manufacturer to make sure. Cheers!

My Dad and I went to the Dallas Home and Garden Show last month and there was a Kahlua booth. It was a pretty nice one too, large with palm trees and sofas, like a tropical lounge. They were making a drink that had Kahlua (of course), cream (I think it was half & half), a little chocolate syrup, and ice. Blended in a mixer.

I was unsure if I should have one as I wasn't entirely sure what was in it and whether it was gluten-free or not. I haven't purposely had any gluten since going gluten-free and am reluctant to blow my record, so to speak. After some observation & consideration I decided it was probably OK. Good decision. It was really tasty. "Yum" as you would say.

My wife rarely drinks, but she will have an occasional Kahlua & cream. I've bought a number of coffee liquer Kahlua wannabes, mostly they're not as good, some are terrible. Thus the price difference I guess.

Thanks everyone for the info. I am still new at this and trying to find out about alcoholic beverages because they do not all have ingrediant list, Feel so confused about all this label reading stuff stil.

Often the manufacturer's web site will have information that is not listed on the bottle. Also a general google search on the name brand and the word "ingredients" will get you some useful information to help determine if a product is safe.

Because sometimes a person just needs some Kahlua in their coffee :P .

Grand Marnier and Bailey's Irish cream are gluten free. I just looked up Grand Marnier and on the FAQ section of their website it says they are gluten-free. I haven't tried Bailey's after being diagnosed with Celiac Disease but it is supposedly ok according to some people around here and a webite or two.

The only liquer I have seen with gluten is the Key Lime one used in Key Lime martinis. It has graham cracker in it. :(

I would always make it a point before trying a new drink in a bar to ask the bartender to read the bottles ... not when they're busy, of course. At one bar, the margarita mix they used had gluten.

      I have trouble with nausea. It often starts when I’m anxious about something (home repairs, sick dog) but continues long after the home is repaired or the dog is healthy again. When it happens I eat less and lose weight.  My gastroenterologist suggested ginger or peppermint tea. I don’t know if that will work or not because I haven't had the problem since she suggested it.

      Hello  I'm not sure what to think . Seems no matter what I do I get sick. I had some yogurt with only 2 grams of sugar and is labeled gluten free ...the strawberry version seemed to really set me off My jaw is burning as well as my stomach and my feet.  Horrible pain..plus acid reflux and nausea... sensitivity to touch pain. ..yikes !! I don't know if it's from the lactose in the yogurt or if I'm getting an ulcer  This condition can make you question yourself quite a bit.  Then if you are not sure the anxiety comes 😞 Does any of these symptoms sound familiar to anyone? The neuropathy is quite intense.  What do you eat or drink after this happens  Open to suggestions  Thank you

      Of course my son is on a 100% gluten free diet.  I wish his symptoms were not debilitating as there are right now.  He cannot work, even when a miniscule of cross contamination occurs.  It's not just GI distress, but intense fatigue, brain fog, depression, anxiety, insomnia, etc.  It's literally neurological inflammation.  Not to be taken lightly here.  We have sought out many other possible ways to cope during this window of time (8 months!!!!)  without success.   AN-PEP does not help and seems like studies on this are not well researched.  So, we are trying this out because research shows some promising results.  And, all participants showed no cravings afterwards, no signs of addiction.  The patch is different than the oral route such as smoking, vaping, gum, pouch, etc.

      Have you tried AN-PEP enzymes, for example, GlutenX (who is a sponsor here)? A lot of research has shown that it can break down small amounts of gluten in the stomach, before it reaches the intestines. It might be a better approach than risking nicotine addiction, and the questionable research around this. I also hope that he’s trying to be 100% Gluten-Free.

      Hi all  I was diagnosed Coeliac a few years ago and follow a gluten free diet. The list of foods that I can eat without a problem grows shorter on a weekly basis. [I also have diabetes and asthma also].  BUT the reason I am posting this is because I seem to struggle with nausea quite a lot, which is really quite debilitating, and I was wondering if others suffer from nausea, even if following a gluten free diet.
