Ya know...when I was a pampered Chef consultant, they came out with these one year. I remember thinking to myself "What the heck are these for!". Little did I know that just a few short years later, I'd be wishing I had them! LOL :D

I've heard of them....but I've NEVER used them. We have a large 4 slot toaster. (well, it's really two really LONG slots). BUT they don't share burner elements, either....so we have a gluten free side and a gluten side. It's so funny, my husband (unknowing there were sides) went to put something in shortly after going gluten free...my kids stopped him and said "Daddy, you can't that side of the toaster is ONLY for mommy, you can't use it! You'll make her sick!" And he didn't - the converstaion that night was soooo funny!!! :D

In addition to keeping your gluten free bread safe in the toaster, you can also use these bags to make a hot sandwich in th toaster too..like toasted ham and cheese, etc; or to heat up pizza without it getting soggy like in the mocrowave.

      New labs are now very elevated

      Hello, I was very stick, with flu like symptoms, but my virus panel came back negative and we couldn’t figure out what’s going on. The doctor then added a celiac panel. Has anyone ever had such a dramatic change? What are the odds this is true celiac I am going to have an endoscopy, but it’s expensive and I just feel like why can’t the labs be enough?...

      This kind of question is always difficult to give a definitive answer to because of so many variables. One such variable is the sensitivity of the individual celiac to small amounts of gluten cross contamination. An amount that causes a reaction in one celiac many not in another, or at least not be discernable which, of course, does not exactly equate to...

      Is Cracker Barrel`s gluten-free menu safe for kids with celiac disease?

      I see that Cracker Barrel restaurants have a gluten free menu (not all locations, but one confirmed that they do). I was wondering if it is safe for my 5 year old son with celiac disease?
