Upcoming Surgery

I have been going back and forth to my doctor, specialists, and surgeons for the last two weeks to schedule the surgery I posted about a few weeks ago. I am ready to get it over with when I find out that it is more complicated than the surgeon I went to can do so I have to go to a larger hospital in another town. I am not overly worried I just want to get it over. Now instead of the three masses they found being in my small intestine, where they can just cut out 18 inches-which they are going to do anyway, the masses are seperate from the intestines and they have to come out. The surgery will entail both proceedures. Hopefully the surgery will be next week. I appreciate all the thoughts and prayers in the past and would like to ask for you to continue to remeber me a little longer. Thanks for letting me vent.

Interesting, when I suffered for a few months with ectopics I noticed that carbohydrates would cause indigestion and bloating in my stomach, then that would lead to my heart skipping beats, and I could feel it in my throat, it was very unsettling.  My last serious bout of this was after eating a Muller Rice Pudding for breakfast.   I happened to be wearing a 48 hour halter at the time and cardiology picked it up, but they weren't worried about what they saw. There was some British doctor who'd made some videos on the Vagus nerve that I remember watching at the time which made sense of what I was experiencing, there did seem to be some sort of connection.

I asked my cardiologist about stopping vitamins.  He said his tests account for all detectable vitamins from sources other than food.  I only need to stop them for a couple of days.  He has me keep records of meds and vitamins I've ingested over the past 10 days and prior and he does his calculations.

Reply to treats I try and eat to bring up the glucose. Sometime I get up 3 times a night and eat something. I don't think food is the issue. A lot of the food they say should help doesn't.  Many mornings my level is 59 and I feel sick, sometimes for hours. It has been recommended I go to an Endocrinologist.
