I am so sorry. I like my doggie better than my kids... j/k obviously, but not totally. Dunno if the Rainbow Bridge is too hokey for you... I always thought it was for me... till I lost my 10+ year old Boxer Boy, Boozer. Then I asked someone to post it for me and cried like a baby!!

The Rainbow Bridge poem has been posted here. Open Original Shared Link

It's been a long time since she has posted, but I know she still visits from time to time.

Losing a pet is no easier than losing a human... I hope that you are able to find peace in this difficult time. God knows you've been through enough in the past few weeks.

Thanks for rainbow bridge, i really loved it and know its true. I have not slept yet, and its 5:30 in the morning and the boys are up with me. She was my first dog and i didnt get her til i was in college, so i had to leave her with my parents when she was 1, it was so hard in an apartment. They always told me I could take her back once i got an house, but they loved her so much i let her stay with them. My parents are having such an hard time and blame themselves. They felt they should of called the vet sooner, the doggie passed away while my dad was outside waiting for the vet. SHe told them there wasnt much they could have done for her, even surgery only had a slight chance of survival. The vet was shocked that she never cried. She just got up to go get an drink of water and hit the french doors and my mom ran to get her and she looked at my mom and took 3 breaths and passed away. They left her in the kitchen, and will take her down today to be cremated, they dont want to bury and i cant blame them there.

I never knew lsoing an pet was so hard. My kids are devastaed. They told my hubby that he had to stay home today cause ginger died. But my 6 yr old looked at me and said u know what mom, uncle and grandma were up in heaven waiting for her to come and play iwth them cause they were lonely until we can go play with them. And they are goign to pray for the dog today at school. I really have great kids. Why cant i be strong like them.

Ok im done rambling, see what no sleep does to me.

That's a tough thing to go through. I feel for your family. I was never a dog person, but am now. We too would also be devastated.

It's a cruel trick of nature that we humans outlive our animal companions, our friends that love us so unconditionally.

I'm very sorry. lm

thanks everyone, my parents are feeling so bad today. They blame themselves for not calling the vet sooner and for going to a meeting yesterday. Their lives revolved around this dog, she ws a very spoiled doggie. I told them even if they would have got her in, she would of probably still passed away, but they said then at least they could of tried everything they could. My mom took an pic of her right after she passed, and she looked so terrible, i put it on my screensaver, they tell me she didnt suffer, but for the looks of it, she did.

They are talking about another doggie, but they want a lap dog that cant hve this happen to it.

what she died from was bloat from too many grains, to me it sounds like a case of doggie celiac.

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
