Do you have someone with you or can you call someone? A lot of people here use a heating pad for comfort. Drink lots of water.

I'm just wondering if it's making your back hurt, too...and like you want to curl up in a small ball? I've been having a TON of lower left ab pain lately, too. I'm going to get tested in one month. A few months ago I had that pain, spread to my back. I thought I had an ovary cyst...ended up going in immediately. After the ultra sounds, NOTHING. Hmmm??? Celiac?

Gall stones usually attack right after dinner, and hurt like nothing else

A friend of mine had a perforated ulcer. It appeared to subside while resting, but increased with motion.

Whatever it is, I hope you feel better soon. And don't hesitate to seek medical advise if you feel the pain is getting worse.

I would eliminate the dairy for a little while. Also raw veggies can be very hard on a compromised system. For the first few months gluten-free a salad with lettuce would make me feel really awful. I hope you feel better soon and as much as we don't like to have other things taken away it may be needed until you heal a bit more.

It sounds like you needed some comfort food are there any other comfort food type things that you could choose, something like maybe a bowl of buckwheat cereal with cinnamon or a baked apple? I make gluten-free banana muffins and keep them in the freezer for those times when I just don't want to cook and need something warm and tasty.

If your pain continues or gets worse don't hesitiate to call your doctor, if you have a fever or are feeling nauseous or you start to get a cold sweat get to the ER. Severe left sided pain can be indicitive of diverticulitis which might need medical intervention. This would be particularly true if you had a colonoscope that showed diverticuli on the exam.

This treatment looks promising. Its aim is to provoke immune tolerance of gluten, possibly curing the disease. It passed the phase 2 trial with flying colours, and I came across a post on Reddit by one of the study volunteers. Apparently, the results were good enough that the company is applying for fast track approval.  Anokion Announces Positive Symptom Data from its Phase 2 Trial Evaluating KAN-101 for the Treatment of Celiac Disease https://www.reddit.com/r/Celiac/comments/1krx2wh/kan_101_trial_put_on_hold/

BTW, we've done other articles on this topic that I wanted to share here (not to condone smoking!):

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.
