What Perumes Are Celiac Friendly?

My son was just dx w/ celiac so im doing everything i can-ive thrown away makeup-perfumes that i can read the label and looks iffy -i still have ALOT of perfumes that dont have the label-dolce and gabbana-pleasures-estee lauder ect ect i hate to throw it away if i can still wear them.Some bottles are still full! I will probably end up calling the companys to find out.If i must-i will toss it all out.I just want my son to get better.What does everyone else wear?I havent seen much info on perfumes here.For now....im not wearing anything!Perfume that is!lolol

For me, sometimes, it's the scent that bothers me. He may be fine. Once you find out if the product is gluten free, then he may be fine with the product. Myself, I do not use many perfumes, I have Ginger Lotus made my Prince Matchabelli, that I love, I have Vanilla Fields by Coty, and Tabu, which really has become too strong for me to wear, even though I love the scent. I still use some of the HEaling Garden products and some of the Bath & Body products, but I have to watch them too, some have gluten, and some, the scents are too strong!

      Welcome to the forum, @Mpanknin! Questions like that really have no definite answer. Even if you tested a container of it for gluten content, the test results would only be good for that production batch. Assume it has some degree of CC. A more important question might be, how sensitive are you to minor amounts of gluten exposure?

      I have Celiac, and I just found out that HCTZ has gluten in it, and also makes you severely constipated versus diarrrhea!!  I need another medicene for blood pressure that is certified gluten free, without the 20 ppm, and doesn't cause constipation, please!!

      Thanks Wheatwacked. My D is normal. I take B12, B6, and a bone health supplement (I'm 67) that has K1, Calcium, Magnesium, and a bunch of other things. But no thiamine. But I will have my doc add it to my next blood draw. Thanks for the info WW!

      Wondering if this is gluten free or not. The only ingredients show garlic. Nothing about where it's processed if there's cross-contamination etc. Anybody know?

      @jeffpine, please realize that GliadinX is not designed to allow you to eat large amounts of gluten without celiac repercussions. It is designed to counteract cross contamination situations where you might be exposed to small amounts of gluten accidentally such as you might get in a restaurant when you order something that should be gluten free but it is cooked on the same grill with stuff that has wheat. Also remember that the absence of noticeable uncomfortable reactions doesn't necessarily equate to no damage happening to the small bowel lining.
