This recipe is AMAZING!! the brownies are soo soft and addictive! i thought i'd share it with everyone! its a nigella lawson recipe.

225g of 70%+ dark chocolate

225g Butter

2 teaspoons of vanilla extract

200g caster sugar

3 eggs beaten

150g ground almonds

100g chopped walnuts

Preheat the oven to 170c/gas mark 3.

Melt the chocolate and butter gently over a low heat in a heavy based saucepan

Take the pan off the heat, mix in the vanilla and sugar, and let it cool a little.

Beat the eggs into the pan along with the ground almonds and chopped walnuts.

Turn into a 24cm square tin - or better still use a foil one.

Bake in the oven for 25-30 mins, by which time the top will have set but the mixture will still be really gooey!

Once cooled, cut into pieces and enjoy!!!

These sound amazing - but I didn't pay attention during the US-Metric conversion unit in elementary school (or perhaps it is just because it was soooo long ago). Can somebody convert this to US Standard?

Thanks!

and translate "caster sugar"...

Caster sugar is a little more fine than our regular granulated sugar, but regular granulated white sugar works fine in an equal amount in most things.

I use Open Original Shared Link all the time- it's a great resource! Click on Cooking and it's easy to convert any measurement.

The Lindt (Lindor) dairy-free oat milk truffles are definitely gluten-free, and (last time I checked) so are the white chocolate truffles and the mint chocolate truffles.

I've used magnesium taurinate and magnesium taurate vitamins.  Didn't notice much of a difference when I used them.

More great tips, and a good excuse to shop at M&S and also buy more iced buns!   I wish we had an ASDA near us, as the few times we've been to one their gluten-free pasta range seemed very reasonably priced compared to other shops.  Thanks so much, @Russ H.
