COOL!! I'm only about 70 miles from Knoxville. I will be there in July for my son's doctor appointment. I'll have to check it out. Thanks for the info.

I was doing some research for my trip to Knoxville and found your post about Roman's Pizza. So when I was there a week ago on Friday night my family decided to try it out. The guy taking the orders told us that they usually need a couple of hours notice to prepare the gluten free items, because David is so cafeful with cross contamination. So I told him we would just try and come back the next Friday. He mentioned the buffet, but I said we would be leaving town before that. So he turned to who I later found out was David and asked if he could do a pizza for us then. He said he could. So we sat down to wait. This amazing man made us our very own buffet. He made pepperoni pizza rolls, garlic bread twists, cheese bread, spinach alfredo lasagna, our canadian bacon pizza (in the shape of a heart), and then little chocolate cookies with fudge and powdered sugar on top. I couldn't believe he went to all that trouble for just us. I will definitely be going back there the next time I am in town. What an incredible man and the food was great too.

      Welcome to the forum, @yellowstone! The most common ones seem to be dairy (casein), oats, eggs, soy and corn. "Formed" meat products (because of the "meat glue" used to hold their shape) is a problem for some. But it can be almost anything on an individual basis as your sensitivity to rice proves, since rice is uncommonly a "cross reactor" for celiacs. Some celiacs seem to not do well with any cereal grains.

      What foods can trigger a response in people with gluten sensitivity? I've read that there are foods that, although they don't contain gluten, can cause problems for people with gluten sensitivity because they contain proteins similar to gluten that trigger a response in the body. I've seen that other cereals are included: corn, rice... also chicken, casein. I would like to know what other foods can cause this reaction, and if you have more information on the subject, I would like to know about it. Right now, I react very badly to rice and corn. Thank you.

      Shingles is dormant and related to chicken pox when one has had in the past.Shingles comes out when stress is heightened.I had my 3rd Shingles in 2023.
