Great Gluten Free New York

Had a GREAT experience there this week. Had dinner at Open Original Shared Link. Gluten free pasta carbonara was to die for. I didn't even have room for their gluten-free brownie!!!!!!

The following night my husband and I took in a jazz show at Open Original Shared Link. They don't have a gluten-free menu, but had no problem accommodating me including dessert (creme brulee). Good food, great music!

Had lunch at Open Original Shared Link. They have a gluten-free menu as does their sister restaurant Nizza (Italian- will go there next time as they have a chickpea crust pizza!). Even saw Cynthia Nixon from Sex and the City. I had the "Five Napkin cheeseburger" which was crazy good- huge burger with Gruyiere cheese and carmelized onions.

Overall, the Upper West Side is GREAT for gluten-free!

Going on a cruise next week and I’m a celiac. Bought a bottle of GliandinX. Should I just take two tablets per day as a precaution? Never tried this before!! Any help is appreciated!!

Good point, as thyroid conditions are more common in those with celiac disease: https://www.celiac.com/celiac-disease/celiac-disease-amp-related-diseases-and-disorders/thyroid-pancreatic-disorders-and-celiac-disease/
