I don't feel good

I can't keep my eyes open

I can't take my pain pills because I don't need that much anymore

I got Meijer's brand Advil.

I took two.

I got a reaction.

I wrote to them.

They wrote me back with a gluten free link that doesn't work

They told me they'll forward this on to someone else

I can't brush my teeth good and my mouth is disgusting yucky

He doesn't want me using mouthwash yet, just salt water

I feel filthy from head to toe

I didn't wash my hair cuz I didn't feel like it

I want some real food but can't have that yet

I got some broc cheese soup for lunch and it was good but I need a gallon of it

ok i'm done ranting now.

Poor baby! Most of the Advil/tylenol type stuff is gluten-free that I have found. Go take a shower & wash your head! (Say that in your Grandmothers voice!) It will improve your mood.

Can you eat little tiny bits that you don't need to chew yet? Hamburger chopped up really dinky in a little beef broth would probably hit the spot. Maybe a bakes potato with lots of butter or mixed with the mixer and milk & butter until creamy? An over ripe fresh peach mushed up? Making meself hungy. :P

The advice to take a nice warm shower is a good one. If you have any lavender scented soap, or any other favorite scent, it might make you feel better.

Do you have any cream of buckwheat on hand? That's a favorite comfort food of mine. Perhaps some scrambled eggs or some rice noodles broken up in small swallow whole bits and some nice chicken broth might be doable.

I hope your feeling better soon.

Connie dear.....I had only one molar pulled in January and thought that a pain in the butt as far as all the things you ranted about so I cannot imagine what pulling 6 teeth must be like. It was 6, wasn't it? :o My implant will be started in October so there's more fun coming for me down the road.

Take a shower and wash your hair so you'll feel cleaner and calmer. Even if you don't need the pain meds, maybe take one anyway for the hell of it as you shouldn't drink alcohol right now. ;) That always works for me! Eat your favorite mushy foods so you won't be hungry, which always makes people grumpy. Not much else that can be done...it's one of those pain in the arse times when you just have to get through it and try not to lose your mind. I am thinking of you and sending healing thoughts your way. Dental work is just no fun as it impacts what you can eat and that's huge. Feel free to rant away!

And tell me WHY I'm craving 3 Musketeers and Milky Ways and PB cups????

I have NEVER been a candy eater.

The good news is, I get off work in 16 minutes.

Oh, Connie - this too shall pass. I hope you can go home, maybe have a nice bath, and surround yourself with good things. Maybe watch something that makes you laugh?

You went to work like that? :P Supposedly, if we crave candy, we are actually craving fruit. OK, maybe...

Conniebky, I know EXACTLY how you feel! And, I appreciate the format in which you shared your frustration. To the point! No beating around the bush! Not writing, rewriting, editing and reediting til 3 hours pass and that frustrating energy is still swarming around because it hasn't been "released." Can you use Tom's toothpaste?

Hi Colleen H,   I suffered with the pins and needles/burning feeling in my legs and feet for at least  6 years until my Nephrologist figured out that I had to go on a low salt diet.  He said my kidneys weren't strong enough to remove the salt.  The simple fix was a diuretic, but that med leaves the uric acid behind, so that wasn't an option.  On the bright side the low salt diet lowered my BP over 20 points and and the pins and needles/burning feeling went away.  Good Luck and hope this helps.

Yes this is very frustrating for me ... not sure what to think.  Feels like I'm having reactions to a lot of things  Now applesauce?? I don't understand 😞

I did ... But aren't we going to be vitamin deficienct if we are not eating due to being sick ?? If the food we eat is gluten free and we have other sensitivities , how do we get out of the cycle??  Thank you

Anyone else get pins and needles. ??? Burning feeling ? Heat makes it so much worse 😔  Winter is here.  I had to lower my thermostat because I couldn't take that hot air feeling 😔  Hopefully it goes away soon

I assume that you already know that genetic testing for celiac disease cannot be used to confirm a celiac diagnosis. About 40% of the general population has the genetic potential to develop celiac disease but only about 1% actually develop celiac disease. It can be used to rule out celiac disease with a high degree of confidence, however, in the case where the genetic testing is negative for the genes. Until and unless you are actually diagnosed with celiac disease I would not raise this as an issue with family. However, if you are diagnosed with celiac disease through blood antibody testing and/or endoscopy with positive biopsy I would suggest you encourage first degree relatives to also purse testing because there is a significant chance (somewhere betwee 10% and almost 50%, depending on which studies you reference) that they will also have or will develop active celiac disease. Often, there are symptoms are absent or very minor until damage to the small bowel lining or other body systems becomes significant so be prepared that they may blow you off. We call this "silent celiac disease".
