Worried A New Clinical Manifestation Will Arise

I'm really doing the best I can and am taking all the necessary measures to avoid foods im allergic to but at the same time refuse to live in a bubble. Ive been through hell and back for the past 10 years and really hope the future is a bright one.

Still, As cautious as I am about my health Im still very much concerned that something is going on in my body that i have zero control over and eventually a new ailment or disease or problem will surface. I feel like my body is just holding on as long as it can but will eventually cave in

Maybe i should be just eating white rice and salmon and lettuce every day, in fact i probly should be. i found some gluten free english muffins that ive been eating with almond butter & jelly and maybe i shouldnt be. Maybe every time i have a glass of wine its causing damage that i can even see or feel...etc, etc, etc...you get my point

Ive made enormous strides but i still feel psychologically crippled by this whole thing. And now that I'm kinda in the beginning stages of a relationship (maybe) its all even more so apparent how inconvenient and frustrating this is. Aside from therapy what else can I do to feel normal and not worry about all this? Do you guys live in this constant state of fear?

Jason

I was noticing you were running on the anxious side. Why do you say "aside from therapy"? It sounds like you're living with a little post-traumatic stress. You might find a few sessions of counseling to learn some new thought patterns to be really helpful.

I do wonder about your B vitamin status. Low B12, which so many of us have, can make you anxious. Another thing you can look at is taking inositol supplements. There are studies where 6-12g of inositol a day help anxiety. 5-HTP or SAMe might also be helpful.

I hope some other people have ideas for you, because you DO sound more anxious and worried than is healthy or comfortable.

If you have recently been getting glutened that may also be increasing your anxiety. You seemed much calmer for a while so I think that your possible CC issues with girlfreind and your reluctance to discuss what needs to done to keep you safe are contributing to how anxious you are feeling right now.

You are saying in other posts that you are now intimate with her. You really need to talk to her about what she needs to do to keep you safe. She is trusting you, and you her, not to be giving each other an STD, or you have discussed it. If she trusts you enough to be intimate, and you her, you should be able to trust her enough to let her know about needing to do things like brushing her teeth before you kiss deeply and making sure her lip products are safe for you.

Do you or anyone know alot about ibuprofen  I wasn't sure if I was eating too much apple sauce.   Something is making my pain so much worse  I'm referring to the intense pins and needles in my feet and lower legs.  Jaw actually has tardive dystonia and muscle spasms throughout my back Almost like an opposite effect that a pain reliever would do. I'm fairly new to this. Whatever is going on seems to be worsening  Do people get a withdrawal effect from gluten?  It's extremely painful 😖  I'll post that question or research on the site  Thank you everyone for responding

I think I found a huge culprit for severe reactions to create worsening of my c symptoms. Do people with celiac have sensitivity and /or have opposite reaction to certain medications Where can I find a list ?  I'm new here I'm.wondering why I am getting worse when I take certain medicine...the burning feet.  Rebound muscle pain so intense  How many people get opposite effects or have a horrible attack after these meds

Does anyone know if that includes scrambled eggs and healthy smart butter (,gluten free) I add a very tiny amount of margarine less than a teaspoon.  I did no't have any bread    It just seems like no matter what I eat my stomach and nerves over fire and here comes a host of horrible symptoms. My lower abdomen feels horrible, my right leg thigh muscle.. very odd. Jaw pain. Burning feet , joint pain , you name it  The anxiety just creeps up into brain fog. I don't think I could explain this to anyone who is unfamiliar.  Also,  I most likely will not remember posting this until I check it.  This is highly unusual for me because I have an excellent memory.  One weekend before I knew anything about celiac I lost an entire weekend from severe brain fog, confusion, pain, etc.  I honestly thought I was losing my mind. When I think back I recall eating a lot of PBJ sandwiches and turkey sandwiches.  Once again did not know about gluten.  I was just too sick to cook. Do people fast during attacks ?? It seems horrible to keep going through this. I hope I'm not causing my own problems... I wonder if I should fast because I'm not eating gluten .  Chicken ,  scrambled eggs no milk , canned carrots,  gluten free low sugar low fat Greek yogurt which I already posted about 😞 Any suggestions I am open... I am bedridden when this happens to me.  Thank you Celiac community. 🙏🏻❤️

Yeah, that sounds super familiar. When inflammation levels are high — especially at the start of changing your diet — the body often develops a fructose and lactose intolerance. Unfortunately, the only thing that really helps is cutting out anything that isn’t lactose-free or that contains sugar. So basically, stick to meat, veggies, fish…
