Wanted to update you guys on the results of my PillCam. It was completely normal...no evidence of celiac or crohns, however, I didnt do a gluten challenge so still cant say for certain that i dont have celiac but at least the villi were in good shape.

As ive been discussing with Sue..my doc does feel that I have gastroparesis, which explains a lot of my symptoms. i was taking HCL supplements with great success but had to stop do to a flare up. once it settles down I will reintroduce.

Aside from that I am presently taking a 5 day course of Vermox to treat the hookworm that showed up on my metametrix test for the 2nd time and in 2 weeks will start a short course of rifaximin to treat bacterial overgrowth. hopefully i will be back on track soon but just wanted to update you guys

thanks for the continued support

Thank you ! Good to know I am not alone. I am currently on metformin and rybelsus for my diabetes. The last week or so my sugar has been so uncontrolled, more so than before. I am very frustrated and discouraged by all this. I have had days of 317 to a low of 64. I feel terrible. I am getting back on the gluten free wagon, just taking some time, and not seeing results and relief as fast as I had hoped. My stomach is just a mess, sometimes worse than others

Thought was finished with this but a friend just sent email saying she takes Tirosin liquid levothyroxine which has no fillers (mentioned by Pgetha above).  Friend's doc sends script to one of Tirosin's direct-mail pharmacies.  Looking that up, government insurance (Medicare/Medicaid) doesn't cover (as Pgetha wrote above).  But if use one of their direct-mail places three month supply is $57/month.  Researching that, happened to learn Yaral also makes a generic gluten-free levothyroxine.

Lysine is helpful for "cold sores" (oral herpes).
