There should be a music thread in here, I say. :) I looooove music, I have a decent variety in my taste, though I do often tend to go for artists that can draw a huge group of white people together for non-religious, non-U.S.-Republican purposes (not intentionally, of course). :P Recently, I've been on a K-Pop kick. I speak basically no Korean, but that doesn't stop me from (very horribly) attempting to sing along and offending/amusing Korean speakers everywhere.

My current obsession: 2NE1 - Follow Me

2NE1 has the most fun music videos ever! And their style is fabulous. :D They're trying to break into the U.S. market and going to do an English-langugage debut last I heard from them. I hope they make it, they're awesome.

What kind of music do you like? What songs (or genres? or artists?) have you recently discovered that you replay enough to put even the most corporate-shill radio stations to shame?

Not sure I would just want to listen to them but they are fun to watch. I think I'll try the polka dot hair next time I color mine. :o

I like Indie Rock. I listen to Sirius Alt Nation most all day. Some of my favorite bands are Muse, Metric, Airborne Toxic Event, Arcade Fire, Vampire Weekend, Weezer, and on and on. B)

i'm not into a spacific group, however i do like rock/jpop/jrock.

I also tend to listen to the same song on repeat for days at a time :P i'm just weird that way.

I only recognized a couple of groups mentioned.. Otis Redding and Pink Floyd. I listen mostly to 60's and 70's beach music or Motown-type stuff. But then, I'm old.

well..mainstream wise I do like alot of metalcore..

or perhaps... some Euro techno? hardstyles =D

pre celiac I wanted to travel all the best euro destinations like germany! I hear they have good raves =D

I just found out Itunes has a radio xD I know it's like.. right there but I always ignored it.. and it has Amsterdam trance radio =D!

lol! just finished watching the last of that clip hot asian + stormtroopers = win in my book, gunna go youtube them more xD

Hubby CRACKS up when I'm biffing around the house w/ my ear buds in... dancing and singing. It's so funny cause I have all my fave songs on my ipod and one will come on and I'll say, "Ohhh... I LOVE this song." And then the next one will come on and I'll say, "Oooooh... I love THIS song!!"

No one here would probably like my tastes.

Most of my music favorites consist of Metal, Rock, Hardcore, Alt Rock and the like,

Recently I have been getting into Dubstep and Techno/Rave.

Note: My music tastes do not affect my outlook on things or how I treat myself or others, many think that my taste in music makes a very evil or rude or punk person, I am very caring and nice when you treat me the same way :D

      Peanut Butter cookies - on the crisp side. approx 20 smallish cookies 1 C plus 2 tblsp rounded. 'natural' peanut butter ( the kind you have to stir to blend the PB & oils).... I know, it's a pain!! 1/2 c granulated sugar ....plus 2 tblsp dark brown sugar 1/4 c olive oil... plus 1 tblsp 1 large egg .....and 1 tsp vanilla ...

      No red meat

      I did talk to the nurse and she asked who told me no red meat. I explained the person who called with the results of my blood work. That was last week. She told me the doctor was on vacation and would be back this week and she would talk to him and have someone call me this week. I have not received a call yet. I will call them back Monday as a reminder...

      I shop a fair bit with Azure Standard.       Peanut Butter cookies - on the crisp side.   approx 20 smallish cookies  1 C  plus 2 tblsp rounded. 'natural' peanut butter ( the kind you have to stir to blend the PB & oils)....  I know, it's a pain!! 1/2 c granulated sugar ....plus 2 tblsp dark brown sugar 1/4 c olive oil... plus 1 tblsp 1 large egg .....and 1 tsp vanilla 2 tsp cinnamon - optional but is yummy with the PB mix the above.  In another bowl mix the following dry ingredients: 1 cup brown rice flour  ( I use this  flour as it leaves no yucky after taste in my cookies & lb cakes..... and coffee cake, I buy it at the "Bulk Barn" here in Canada....... states side try health food stores??? I'm not sure where you can buy bulk food that also carries gluten free flours. 1/2 tsp baking soda.....1/4 tsp salt   (I use the pink sea salt) Mix well or sift, then mix with wet ingredients. heat oven to 350f, line baking sheet with parchment paper. Roll about 2 tblsp dough between your hands, place on cookie sheet and press down  with a fork.   The flatter the cookie the crispier it is.     Bake 13-14 min  When done leave on baking sheet till cool. I buy some foods on your list from Rani. I've been happy with their products. https://ranibrand.com/ Azure and Rani often use terms that skirt around explicit "gluten free". I've contacted both of them and gained some comfort but it's always hard to be certain. FWIW, my IgA antibody levels are very low now, (after including their foods in my diet) so it appears I am being successful at avoiding gluten.
