Seriously. The mesquite flour is really good. I use it in the cinnamon Chebe bread to really kick up the flavor. My whole family loves the Baked chicken and apples with mesquite. Here's my approximate recipe for that...

marinate chicken in a bowl with:

2 cups apple juice/cider

1/4 cup honey

1tbsp oil

shake in some garlic salt/pepper

2tbsp Mesquite flour

1tsp cinnamon

Bake chicken in this mixture covered

rice

When chicken is done cooking, use the remaining liquid to make gravy using cornstarch.

Put chicken on rice and top with the mesquite gravy.

We add broccoli. You add whatever vegetable you prefer.

It's good. You don't know what you're missing. :P

Thanks for that recipe, we'll try it. I love when people post their favorite recipes. :D

I have tried it! I ordered it a couple weeks ago based on your recommendation. I've been meaning to post about it. I've only tried it in 2 recipes so far, both were baked goods - dinner rolls and bread. It does have a distinctive flavor, but good - I do want to try it with chicken, but haven't had time. I will try your recipe. Does your son like it? My daughter is very picky, so I'm always looking for things she might eat!

All three of my children loved the chicken recipe. I've made it twice now. Also, my kids really like the cinnamon chebe with a tbs of mesquite added. Here's a link to a real recipe. It's the one I was sort of using.

It's the one for baked chicken and apples. I didn't follow it exactly.

So, do you have to order this flour? You can't get it at a regular store?

I ordered it from these guys. It looks pricey, but you only need a small amount in your cooking to get a huge flavor impact. It's sweet right out of the bag and chocolatey, even. I love the gravy we make with it. I can't think of another food that tastes quite like it. But it's not bbq tasting mesquite. That's a whole different taste than this.

Open Original Shared Link this will take you right to the link to order the mesquite flour. I think this will be a great addition to our thanksgiving and christmas meals. You can add it as a spice to pumpkin or apple pie.

So I purchased the Life Extension Benfotiamine with Thiamine along with the Thiamax. I will take along with my Super B Complexes. I stopped taking the multi vitamins. Should I take all 3 vitamins/supplements together with my morning oatmeal breakfast? Do you think I will experience any bad symptoms when taking them.

Of all the countries I have visited in Europe, Asia, and the Americas, I have found eating out in Ireland to be the safest for celiacs. Most restaurants have all allergens (up to 14 different ones) identified on their menus, including wheat and gluten. I have found staff at restaurants to be very knowledgeable regarding gluten and cross-contamination compared to most other countries. Restaurant staff (including management) in Ireland even tried dissuading me from eating some items labeled 'gluten-free' on the menu, fearing that there could be risk of minuscule cross-contamination. Many of the hotels have fresh baked gluten-free breads, pastries, and cakes at their breakfast buffet, something unheard of in most U.S hotels. These are clearly labeled and well separated from gluten-containing items. There are also quite a few gluten-free desserts to satisfy one's sweet tooth.  With everything said and done, the meats and dairy products are simply delicious and worth trying. Overall, I would give dining out in Ireland five stars for celiac safety and quality.
