I am vising Indiana PA next week (about an hour outside Pittsburgh). I was wondering if anyone knew of any restaurants around there that has gluten free menus. I will be there multiple days so I am hoping to not have to bring my own food for the whole time.

Thanks.

Eat'N Park Restaurant is right in Indiana and has a gluten-free menu. Same with Hoss's Steak & Sea House. There are also a whole host of fast food restaurants with gluten-free menus in Indiana, PA.

Thank you very much!

Long ago I worked at a Hoss's. I highly recommend them as their food is amazing. They do focus on a salad and dessert bar, as well as self serve fresh baked bread but can say that in the particular restaurant I worked in we were beyond careful to be sure each item prepared for the salad bar was not contaminated by other things. Even if you skip that salad bar, the steaks are excellent.

Welcome to the forum, @Jay Heying! What is the reason your doctor is recommending this?

Hello everyone, this my first time to this website and I need some help. I’m 65 years old and have been living with Celiacs for about 15 years. My doctor has suggested I start taking a probiotic named  Integrative Pro-Flora-Concentrae. Has anyone else used this probiotic specifically? If this one isn’t celiac friendly can you recommend another please. Thank you.

If a Celiac person is successful in following a gluten-free diet, they can go into remission.   They may not have a reaction to gluten without a precipitating event like an injury or infection or even emotional or mental stress.   Following a strict gluten-free diet at home, then indulging in gluten containing products abroad without a reaction can be explained by this remission.
