Probably Off Topic, But Have To Ask This Question...

I am here to ask this question. I might not able to get answers or any responses back from any of you.

I noticed that acnes and pimples appears frequenently when I am eating plenty of gluten in almost every meals. Even, My proasrsis flares up like crazy and I started to getting extremely dried skin on kneecaps and elbowes that seem so built up that dont shred normally.

I am bit loss at this since I hasnt been tested yet. I am just mumbling over this since i already did gluten free diet for a week and my skin clears up bit better and I sticked to wholesome foods rather than processed food. This could be just a funky thing?

I started to eat increased intake of gluten in past couple of weeks and noticed the problems starting come back with strong vengance. its a heavy comeback and causes me to have some discomfort with pimples and acnes on my chin. I feel so itchy on my upper back that i seem cant stop itch even it woke me up during at nighttime to jsut itch. i feel like ughs about it my skin dont look horrible but at certain points in past years, it seem it look bad but they fade away when i dont eat too much of breads and pastas.

I dont know if be gluten free diet really do make a difference with all celiac or gluten intolerant's skins or it would just be stress which i hasnt really been stressed out much lately. just a normal light stress as part of daily life.

Just would like to have the opinions on this to see if it does associates with eating lot of gluten?

well....if your skin responds poorly to stress, then absolutely gluten-free would help that. If your body doesn't do well with gluten, then you are causing yourself stress every time you eat it. Removing gluten would remove that stress, and your skin will reflect that.

Areas that itch a great deal may be DH. If you can go to a dermatologist and have them biopsy the skin next to a lesion to check for it. A diagnosis of DH is a diagnosis of celiac.

Raven gives good advice. Listen to her. And if you go to a derm who is experienced in dh & get a positive biopsy then you won't have to gluten yourself anymore for any future tests.

I get this same reaction when I eat gluten...breaking out, itching on my stomach, dry skin, and increased psoriasis. However, I do not have DH. From what I've read, you typically do not have DH AND psoriasis, but it is possible none the less. I could just be your body's reaction to eating gluten.

      So I've been dealing with chasing the name celiac because of my body actively dealing with health issues related to celiac though not eating. Diagnosed in 1994 before foods eliminated from diet. After 25 years with former pcp I googled celiac specialist and she wasn't because of what ive been through. I wanted my results to be sent to my pcp but nothing was sent.I have email copies.I did one zoom call with np with team member from celiac specialist in Nov 2025 and she asked me why I wanted to know why I wanted the celiac diagnosis so bad, I sad I don't, its my life and I need revalidaion because its affecting me.KB stated well it shows you are.I asked then why am I going through all this.I was labeled unruly. Its been a celiac circus and medical has caused anxiety and depression no fault to my own other than being born with bad genetics. How is it legal for medical professionals to gaslight patients that are with an ailment coming for help to be downplayed? KB put in my records that she personally spent 120min with me and I think the zoom call was discussing celiac 80 min ONE ZOOM call.SHE is responsible for not explaining to my pcp about celiac disease am I right?

      I've noticed with my age and menopause my smell for bread gives me severe migraines and I know this.Its alarming that there are all these fabulous bakeries, sandwich places pizza places popping up in confined areas.Just the other day I suffered a migraine after I got done with my mri when a guy with a brown paper bag walk in front of me and I smelled that fresh dough bread with tuna, I got a migraine when we got home.I hate im that sensitive. Its alarming these places are popping up in airports as well.I just saw on the news that the airport ( can't remember which  one)was going to have a fabulous smelling bakery. Not for sensitive celiacs, this can alter their health during their travel which isn't safe. More awareness really NEEDS to be promoted, so much more than just a food consumption!FYI I did write to Stanislaus to let them know my thoughts on the medical field not knowing much about celiac and how it affects one.I also did message my gi the 3 specialist names that was given on previous post on questions on celiac. I pray its not on deaf door.

      I used to be able to get the Rivera yougut i havent been able to get it lately. I like getting it did say it did say gluten free. I just looking for a good yogurt that gluten free that i can add some fruit and nuts to any suggestion would be helpful  thanks
