  1. I make homemade cheesey potatoe soup! It has been my favorite forever! The recipe has flour in it but it is just used for thickening so I use corn starch. PM me if anyone wants the recipe.
  2. I love that show. But I don't think it starts until the spring. at least thats what my dad said since it doesn't say on the website. He thinks this because the crab season that they are filming is from october to like january i think meaning it wouldn't be on until after the season. Hope that helps...

  6. I was wondering if anyone has a list of things that are target brand that are gluten free of if they know how to get one. I looked online and can't find a number to call or an e-mail adress to e-mail them and ask. any help would be great. Thank you.
  7. I know that pure maple syrup is ok but i don't like the taste of it at all. So i was wondering which brands are gluten free. Does anyone know if Hungry Jack is ok? I want pancakes tomorrow and I can't call the company until monday. Thanks

  9. I know I saw another post regarding sauve which is made by unilever. My question is, does unilever clearly lable gluten containing ingredients as either wheat, oats, rye, or barley or do they hide it? If they do, is it true for all the brands mamufactured by unilever?
  10. I just got the vanilla ones. They are soooo good!!!! I gave some to my boyfriend... just a little bite and he couldn't figure out why I was so excited. He said "they taste just like any other wafer cookie" I told him that was the point.
  11. I woke up yesteday to a snow covered ground and then it melted only for me to wake up again this morning to another snow covered ground except today it hasn't melted yet!!! But I'm not complaining... I LOVE SNOW!!!

  14. I am trying to post a photo and went to the avatar thing but my picture is over 50KB is there a way of making it smaller or fixing this at all?
  15. I went to a dietician before the diagnosis and she was the one who suggested to force the doc to do a celiac test. she was a lot of help for me when i was first starting but then again she literally had just come from a week long confrence on celiac.

  20. hi. i am not a teenager but close. i am 21 and in college. when i was in high school i ate their lunch because i was not yet gluten free but looking back, the ting that i ate everyday my entire junior year could easily be made gluten free. It was a veggie wrap! very delicious. Use a rice tortilla i suppose and fill it with lettue tomatos cucumbers chopped...
  21. I have got both the its IBS and its all in your head. although nothing that they tried for IBS worked and seeing a counselor didn't make my stomach feel better. now that i know what it is however, she is helping me deal with it.

    you are lucky to have found one. I live in northern minnesota and have been to many doctors that will just dismiss any digestive issues as IBS. if it only had to be one apt. it would almost be worth the 3 hour drive south to see someone.
  24. thats awesome. I made chicken noodle soup with them yesterday and fed it to my boyfriend. Although he knows I am gluten free he said he liked the tinkyada noodles in the soup better then the wheat ones i used to use. This was his first experience with a gluten free meal as i just started the diet.
  25. I just went gluten free within the past week and have used pasta twice. Tinkyada is delicious. I used it for spaghetti and then the spirals to make homemade chicken noodle soup. my boyfriend said the noodles in the soup were better than regular noodles are!!
