  1. You're right, it does look like a kitten's ears and nose
  2. I haven't started supper yet, too early. I'll likely be back on about 6:00 Pacific Time. So, hopefully, we'll see you all later I think I'll just have a glass of the blush wine that my daughter sent me. It's open ... will save the champagne for when we get some company to help me drink it.
  3. I'm with you, reflux and indigestion, also dry mouth, and sometimes my sinus gets going, which might account for some mucous.
  4. So .... are we doing Eastern Time or Pacific Time ... not sure I'd make it till midnight Pacific time We are morning people ... up before the sun, but bed by 10:30 - 11:00 Pacific time.
  5. Oh ... thank heavens Lynne, that's great news about the skin biopsies! I've had Basil Cell Carcinoma (sp) on my face and arm, not fun with the surgeries, so really glad you are clear! That's a super Christmas present!

    ARCHIVED Blisters

Mine show up on the slightest contamination and last about 3 weeks, depending on how much I injest. Not fun
  8. I haven't really made any resolutions. Although I would like to start getting in shape again. I was doing pretty good, and then ended up with back spasms and Bursitis in my hip on top of bone spurs, so had to let it go for just over a month, now I feel like I have to start over again. Frustrating, but oh well ........ such is life. So ... maybe getting...
  9. Hi Pondlady and Tippy. Welcome to the board. Glad you have jumped in without an individual welcome thread It is a good thought, perhaps would be a good place to post the 'Newby" kit.
  10. Very Interesting, thanks for posting that
  11. Isn't it funny how we get so attached to our animals that they can fully run our households, or at least parts of our households Stranger yet, we wouldn't allow our children to do these things and get away with it. Perhaps because we need to teach our children how to live and behave out in the "real" world. My eldest daughter once told me that...

But it is up and looks wonderful
  14. Yes, hubbys aren't very cooperative for the most part. Mine gets very deffensive if I say anything about cleaning up his crumbs or what ever. But as we've been married for 40 years this spring, he isn't about to change now. So, it's up to us to make sure we stay as healthy as possible.
  15. Yes, a warm one would me much preferred!
  16. That's wonderful! Those are the gifts you'll never forget! Good for you!
  17. Wow, lucky girl What kind of sewing machine? I bought myself a new Husky last spring, and I love it.
  18. Yes, it's certainly time for babysitters to make extra cash! Good for you!
  19. That was super kind of your employers, but did you go, and how did you make out with food?
  20. Thanks, I'll have to check it out. Sometimes our Canadian ingredients are different than the US. Here's hoping!
  21. I rinse all the dishes that go into the dishwasher and use only gluten free pasta. That's the one thing that my hubby eats gluten free. I also make sure I use paper towels, or a clean plate under any of my food that I prepare on the counter. I think the biggest problem is making sure that no crumbs get stuck to coffee cups and glasses. BTW ... you...
  22. Oh NO! I wonder what would happen if we sent them thousands of emails complaining! How frustrating, that was the only safe one we had around here, until they changed.
  23. Hello and welcome to the forum. I don't know for sure if the leasions disappear with a gluten free diet, however, I know that MS patients are told to switch to a gluten free diet in this area, because it certainly helps them. So, even if an MS patient tests negative for Celiac, it helps to stay gluten free. It made a big difference in my step sister who...
  24. You don't say which country you are in. The Canadian Celiac Ass. has a 'pocket' size dictionary that you can take into the store. It has hundreds of things listed in alphabetical order, and will tell you if they are gluten free or not. It's a wonderful tool
  25. Good for you ... go for it! We are all here for support.
