  1. I have never seen the post that started this thread, so I don't know what was said. So here's 2 more cents: I saw mention of Lupus. Thought I'd mention that in my case, there is no other disease that has been associated with it. They say it's 'idiopathic' (meaning they can't give a reason why I have it). I don't believe in idiopathic disease & never...
  2. Thanks Liz, do you mind if I pm you - I have a couple questions maybe you can help me with?
  3. Why can't I read your posts? All I see is a face.
  4. I have minimal change disease. I was dx'd about 4 yrs ago, but when I looked back in my med records, I realized I had it as a kid. I've been gluten free for a few months now, and it seems to be a major factor. I was working on an educated hunch, and after eliminating wheat/gluten, dairy, and everything else that was a possible allergen, I noticed some...
  5. Hi, Even though this doesn't refer specifically to inflammation of the tummy stuff, I still think it will help a little with discomfort. Have you ever tried an epsom salt bath? I don't think it'll solve all the world's problems, but it may make you feel better when you're dealing with being glutened. It's cheap, it's easy, and it feels good. I

    ARCHIVED House

Yeah, Wilson - now that's just good stuff ! House is a m a n a p u l a t o r . Wilson has no choice but to bow down. He's not assertive enough. My theory is that the reason he hangs out with House is that he secretly wishes he were him. They're like polar opposites - the yin / the yang. Ahhh, good times. Yeah, Wilson ...

  9. Thank you, I do realize that everyone has a different set of criteria, and I suppose that it would be a little easier to turn down wheatstuffs & to what extent you need to be careful if you know for sure that you can
  10. Sorry to pop in. I just have to ask: I see this all the time. I hope I

    ARCHIVED Blog?

What's a blog? It appears to me that it's like a journal or something where you can keep thoughts (journal maybe) and give info. about yourself and such and that others can check out your blog if they're interested. I've never been involved with a 'forum' or anything like that, so I don
  12. I'm removing this one too.
  13. Hi all, My 2 cents again, for what it's worth. First of all, RE: The documetary "What the Bleep". Saw it, then bought it, and have watched it a zillion times since then. It's all about the possibilities. It also mentions peptides, cell receptors, proteins, and a million other things. I wanted to mention something about the documentary's comments...

  16. Edited June 2007 I am removing this post. It has no impact on the thread, and I'd rather just forget that particular day. It's personal.
  17. Awesome - Thanks so much. You people ROCK !
  18. I have a question. I live in SD (lucky us) & have looked for Tinkyada Rice pasta. Might anybody know where I can find it? I've looked at Henry's - could have just been looking in the wrong place. Thanks

  20. Yeah - it's nothing less than amazing. I'm going to be 40 soon, and I've never felt or looked better in my life. Thanks again, everyone.
  21. Hope you don't mind ... I'm new here, but ... I know this is going to sound rediculous, but that happened to me about 1
  22. Hi, I thought I'd take a moment and introduce myself. I'm a 'middle aged' woman diagnosed with nephrotic syndrome a few years ago, but I really have to wonder if I'm not Celiac. I did a bunch of research and decided that I must investigate food intolerances a couple months ago. Since then, I've been making an attempt at being gluten-free/ dairy free/...
