    I would love to start an support group on my area. But i have no idea were to start. The closest celiac support group is over 3 hours, and that is just too far. I really dont even know if there is a need for one in my area, but i would love to talk with others face to face. I do know my sons pre-k teacher is celiac. Im guessing it would be good to start with...

    thanks about that tip about no salt. I have Dh and my son gets the mouth and lip blisters. So I hope this will make it better for both of us. I only use dove, is that close enough to white ivory, or shouild i change to that. paula

    Happy Easter, i hope everyone had better weather then us. Omg it was raining and hailing all day. We had to have an easter egg hunt in the house, which the kids loved anyway. I am so glad we went to the eater egg hunt yesterday, there was no way i was going to the one today. Hubby is making easter dinner now, while i am supposed to be resting lol paula

    I live in a small town and im so excited, hubby went shopping today and called me from the store and was like honey there are tons of gluten free mixes here. I was like no way.     Thanks everyone, I am even now making an huge mexican dinner, its kinda hard when u cant have cheese, but i think i am making enough food to make everyone happy. It is so nice to have the energy to enjoy an spring day with your kids, then make an big dinner for the family. Lets hope it continues and i can make it threw sunrise service tommorow at 6:30 am...

    I just had to share that i am starting to feel so much better. Today I got up and took the kids to their soccer game, I had kids on 2 different teams on two different sides of the field and i was able to run back and forth and watch them. It felt so great to be out there with them im the freezing cold lol. Then I took the 4 little ones to an easter egg hunt...

    I would do the complete package, and maybe add the egg, yeast and soy one if u think u have more intolerances then just gluten and milk. paula

    Just wanted to update. Last night when he came home from wrestling we gave him an option, to quit gluten now, or wait til he went to a big party on saturday. Much to my belief he said he wanted to quit now. He had an regular sandwhich at lunch and he said he had sharp stabbing pains during his reading class, and he said he never ever wants to eat gluten again...

    Yes veggies and fruits are all gluten free. No question is stupid in here, so dont be afraid to ask anything. Im pretty new to all this to, and there is no way i could not do any of this without this support group. paula

    Thank you momma goose, it was really funny once i hit the submit button i felt like a big sigh of relief, i really felt i did the right decision for him. I cant wait to talk to him when he gets home tonight. I am going to let him choose to start back on the gluten free diet tonight or wait til he goes to a big birthday party on saturday. paula

    Thank you all for your help in deciding what was best for my stepson. I decided to order the enterolab test. I do not want him to suffer anymore, i cant see him going 8 more weeks on gluten. I do feel that at least these results will be good enough for him. I am also hoping they will be enough for school, if not then i will just pack all his lunches and take...

    Because I believe that is the only way he will follow the diet, I have tried him to be completely gluten free, and he sneaks stuff all the time that has gluten in it. I also need the doctors diagnosis for his mother. She will not follow the diet with him, if he is with her, just cause we feel it is best. Even tho she has not seen him in 9 months, I know they...

    I just went and looked at his grades for the week, and he has gotten 2 f's and one d on assignments this week He had staight a's on assignments last week. So i know i have my answer. I am hoping the doctor will to, and im hoping he will take into account that his aunt has the disease and they are pretty sure the grandma had it also, just never tested....

    Well we put my step son back on gluten on monday, he hasnt ate alot of gluten just a little, yesterday he took a sandwhich on gluten free bread. But he has had some gluten. Well last night he came home from wrestling practice and his mouth is back to all the mouth sores. He is also very spacy again. I hate doing to this to him. I really know i have my answer...

    I am wathcing it this season, I love apollo and ian and billy ray. But to be honest i really dont want ian to win, cause of his dance partner, she does not deserve to win 3 times in a row. She already has a big head from the last 2 wins lol. paula
