  1. I don't sleep well when I am glutened. I get very anxious when I am glutened and when I try to sleep, I get very restless. I will toss and turn and no matter what I do, I cannot get comfortable. It's a werid feeling. I will be in bed for 8 hours, but only get like 4 hours of actual sleep. Sometimes, the feeling will go away at like 5 am or something and it...
  2. I would really like to enjoy some all beef or turkey/chicken hot dogs, but every brand I try makes me sick. Unfourtunately, Maple Leaf and Butterball have both made me sick. I have looked for Oscar Myer, but I cannot find them anywhere. Does anyone know of any safe brands here in Canada? Thanks so much.

  4. Buckwheat by itself is gluten-free, but be careful, sometimes buckwheat can be mixed with other flours like wheat.
  5. I can't eat any chips made by lays. I notice that my reactions seem to be from dairy contamination.
  6. Well I have been to Splitt twice now and I am quite impressed. I had their version of Pad Thai Noodles both times and they were very good! The first time I was in, I had a chat with the waittress and asked a few questions and everything seemed to be fine. I am really happy to have a place like that here.
  7. There is a difference between wheat allergy and gluten intolerance and you can have both. I have both celiac disease and a wheat allergy.

  15. I haven't tried them yet, but I would like to try them. I haven't been able to find them here yet in Calgary. I think the co-op may have them though.

  17. I have been contaminated by campbell's soup and I won't eat their products anymore.
  18. I have eaten planter's trail mix and didn't notice any major reactions. They should be gluten-free, but cross contamination is always possible.

  20. Thanks everyone! I just found out that you can buy hardbite at Sobey's and Co-op in Calgary. I will have to try some That's funny, I don't remember that, but I may have just looked old dutch up on the internet and saw that some flavours are gluten-free. I haven't tried them yet because I am afraid of cross contamination.

  23. Sorry for all the questions lately, but I am in a new place with new food to try! I've seen a lot of old dutch chips around here and I wondered if anyone has had problems with them. I saw that they have gluten-free list on their website, but I'm not sure if they share lines with gluten foods like lays.
  24. Wine can have casein. Search in google for a list of casein free wine.
