    Hey Alex, since you've got time . . . have you thought about maybe making a fish or octopus pinata? Don't know how crafty you are at your house, but we've done the paper mache thing here and it was pretty fun and turned out well.     Did you guys know that those hollow core wood doors actually have strips of corrugated cardboard in them? I know because one of my dogs ate a hollow core door once (well, the bottom 10% anyway) . . . also stripped the linoleum off the floor . . . also destuffed a couch. Printer cartridges, pffft!!

    My MaggieDog could find the medication in anything . . . She even learned to do the swallow-gulp trick to make me think she swallowed it (you know, while you are holding the snout closed and stroking the throat). Then she would walk away and spit it out. These were tiny thyroid pills for Pete Sawyer's sake!! I would find pills and not know if it was today...

    My daughter's doc said that it was because the original blood test was not very reliable and thus the original standard was to do both the blood test and endoscopy. Now, the blood test is much better . . . at least if it's positive. He thinks it will be a matter of time (however, in medical terms, that means years of gathering data) before a positive blood...

    Just so you know that it's not always the gluten, my daughter's behavior stays the same . . . only GI symptoms surface when she's been glutened.

    ...and for the record, I just want to say that I am NOT allergic to mushrooms and lurve them in anything and everything . . . 'cept maybe a bowl of cold cereal . . . and maybe not in my cheesecake or ice cream . . . ok . . . I lurve them in anything that makes sense to put them in.

    I just want to point out that GFM is highly allergic to mushrooms. I think that means that when both GFM and Mushroom are posting, there needs to be at least one nuetral post in between . . . and somebody needs to wipe down/sanitize the board after mushroom has been posting. Welcome GFM!

    I really like the idea of kabobs. For a tea party (like somebody else said) I just think things should be smaller, you could get the disposable wood kabob sticks (I got mine at the grocery store) and cut them in half.     I totally agree that she should be able to eat anything there is at her own party!!! Just a few questions so you can get advice that will be applicable . . . Is it mostly adults or mostly kids? Mostly family members? Are you planning on serving them a meal or more of a light snack? Are you looking at sitting down to eat or more buffet-ish...
