  1. That's so cool, Elonwy.
  2. By reading the post I assumed Annalise Roberts was a poster here since I have never heard of her before. That's why I was wondering where the recipe was. I looked her up on Open Original Shared Link and went inside the book but it doesn't show any recipies- just the Table Of Contents, pictures, What Are You Hungry For?, Gluten Reality, and Getting Started...
  3. I am a vegetarian and don't see how it would allow you to gain more weight. It's cutting out lots and if you aren't doing it for ethical reasons then I guess I don't know how it would be helpful.
  4. Why do you only have four classes? Spanish is a wonderful language and you can get paid more knowing it in the U.S., especially in certain areas.
  5. I don't know any brands who add gluten but the best way to find out is call a few companies and ask.
  6. Click the note pad text box and start typing. Then, hit update to save what you have typed.
  7. My Mom has reactions to some brands.
  8. Why are you eating gluten? You can't get better if you eat it everyday. Damage is done despite a lack of symptoms as well
  9. While I was in Portland, Oregon a vegan restaurant said they have a woman with Celiac Disease who eats there often but I have never met them. In NYC people next to us were eating there because of of their friends has Celiacs and told him how yummie it was.
  10. I know people are getting frustrated by things being said in this thread. If you are it would probably be best just to ignore this thread and let those who find liver clensing helpful discuss it. I personally try not to listen to doctors who know little about our disease, so, I am not going to listen to a poster who knows just the same.
  11. We have been going to Life grocery about three times a month (three Celiacs in my family) for over three years now and they have been very helpful for us (especially getting the Kinnikinnick stuff). I know I will continue to shop there because of what they stand for and I love going to Harry's, too, but it will be nice to have a ten minute drive to this...
  12. You should go to your doctor so that you can prove your Celiacs or gluten sensitivity. By law your school has to help you by either giving you gluten-free food with the meal plan or not making you take the meal plan and allowing you to cook your own food. However, without any proof they don't have to do this. Do what's best for you because it's hardto...
  13. It's still a drive for us to get to Life Grocery and Harry's Farmers Market, though. Plus, they don't carry everything I want, so, I pick up stuff while I am downtown, too.
  14. I went to this store today! While they have just opened and still stocking their shelves I was excited about what they had! The man said they would order things if I wanted them, too. They had different Kinnikinnick products, Bob's Red Mill, Amy's, different frozen breads, dry mixes, noodles, cookies, and such. I usually have to head downtown and sometimes...
  15. I have had it once and liked it.
  16. The happiest times of my Mom's life symptom-wise pre-diagnoses were when she was pregnant- she felt good.
  17. I enjoyed eating there a few years ago and so did my Father (he had gluten food, though).
  18. Open Original Shared Link is a helpful site, too.
  19. I would hope DNA testing in the future wouldn't turn out like how it did in the mvie Gattaca.
  20. Corn gluten is fine.
  21. The Outback Steakhouse and Cheeseburger In Paradise have gluten-free menus.
