  2. That reminds me of the guff they used to say about stomach ulcers being caused by stress and worry and spicy foods. Totally false as it turns to be a bacteria that causes 90% of them.
  3. A big can of salty sauerkraut has some chance of getting things moving. Don't drain it real well, the salt is what makes it work. For gas in the stomach peppermint is good. Peppermint Altoids work well. Also Betaine HCL. Mastic gum may help too but you need to take it for a couple weeks several times day.
  4. Daiya cheese shreds, made with pea protein, pretty ok for a sub, although not the same thing of course.. There are some threads on the forum about making your cheese subs using almond meal.
  5. As of about 2 months I ago I started feeling much better. Better than in I had in the past 4.5 years I have been gluten-free. I still have episodes here and there and still am not sleeping all that great. I get tired in the middle of the day some. But all in all I feel much better and have some energy too.
