That may be true, but 98.8% them contain soy lecithin as an emulsifier! And I just went to buy my Well Naturally chocolate bar, and they have pulled them from the shelf because some lady claimed she got sick from eating them. What's a gal gotta do to get a chocolate fix??? -
I have recently convinced my doctor to give me vitamin D supplementation at a high level (50,000 iu/wk) because my levels were "in the toilet" as ShayFL used to say--at the very bottom end of the scale. It will be interesting to see if that works. I have been avoiding the sun, especially because we have so little ozone down here! Thanks for this info...

You may or may not become sensitive to other things. Depends on how irritated your body is with what you have been doing to it. And it probably depends on the individual how long it lasts. The only way I know of is an elimination diet. However, you haven't told us what symptoms you had before giving up gluten. Were they gastrointestinal, neurological, or what? The answer to your question would really depend on knowing how you were before. Did you have a biopsy showing villous atrophy? This would indicate that you should eliminate lactose...

I would say that now you have come this far and suffered for two months, you might as well stick it out and get tested; that way you will never kick yourself for not following through. Kim, I know nothing about Redbridge or other gluten free beers, but I know others have complained on here about reacting to some of Amy's products--can't remember which ones. I tried some when I was there last year and had no problems; it seems to depend on your sensitivity. I think some might be processed on the same lines as??? -
I would hold off on the caffeine (some herbal teas would be okay), margarine okay, careful with the spices as some of the mixes contain gluten (McCormicks is supposed to be okay) and perhaps eliminate the sugar for a while in case you have candida overgrowth.
