    for christmas this year we are doing we know what we are getting so we know we like what we are getting. my mom is letting us order what we want from the stores we want, she will wrap it up and put it under the tree but we know what we are getting, it's a good way to know what we are getting and give what people want and we kow they will like it.

    YEah if you know celiac teens like even if there are only like 4 of them then you can make a group and my group gets together either at a gluten-free restaruant or at someone's house. It is really bad of a website now but i will work on it over thanksgiving break.

    I am saying hi to all rachelville people from NEW YORK for the INTERNATIONAL CELIAC SYMPOSIUM which i am very excieted for, the teen program is going to be aBLAST i will post with updates, today this morning hanging out with the sis and then tomorrow the programs really start for the teens.

    actually my sister had many false positives, with one time having all of them being positive, but he had the biopsy done and nothing was wrong, then they ran the gene test and she doesn't have the gene! so it is very rare, but can happen, she then had food allergy testing done and those were positive for wheat and rye but not barley. this is very very very...

    I actually hate jewelery like necklaces, my sisters both got tiffany necklaces and I got a new digital camera for my 16th , you just need to know her tastes.

    yep whey is fine. I have no idea on the tatoo one either, i think that it should be fine however, becuase it will not be going into your body, only if you had a wheat allergy would it be a problem, or if you licked it, which would be kinda weird. tampons are all safe as far as i know.

    i am 16 and that would be very well recieved I do have a car but i share it with my sisters. See there are some girls who would not want a coach purse (like me) it depends if the girl likes designer things or not.

    Hi, I agree with the first posts and I am one of those teenagers who got daignosed early and I am very fine now and have been on the gluten free diet for some time now (almost 15 years). She NEEDS to go gluten free as soon as possible, she is doing damage to her intestines everytime she eats gluten, weather or not you can see it. She may not be sick now...

    I have gotten it each year since i was diagnosed with celiac, i am not sure why but with it you are high-risk and can get it when other people are not like at the clinics they have at my hospital, but that was not a good idea for me beause there were so many people that we waited for over 2.5 hours. But i would advise you get it it should help.

    In-n-Out is good, you just get it protein style and it works out great! very yummy, oh yeah also don't get the sauce that is iffy on weather it is gluten-free or not.

    What I would ask would be if you just didn't have to pay for the meal and eat before hand and maybe bring some of your own food. This way you can have food but there is a way for you to still have fun with the team and have fun at the banquet. You can eat before and then just have fun. I know I have played soccer for 11 years, and had a banqueet every spring...

    123 gluten free are very very good! I really like the mixes and such! I also like ener-g flours not their products except their pretzals. Kinikinick is really good but i dont know how to spell it fresh food that is naturally gluten free is the best to have!

    Childrens hospitals are a A LOT BETTER. when i had my tonsils out at a regular hospital it was terrible, they used an IV needle for adults and I was 11 at this time and under 5 feet and about 80 lbs. and they didn't use gas they just did the IV, they took me back into the OR and then sedated me.     how do you get over the pain of a spinal tap w/out taking meds cause they all have corn in them i spent the day in the ER and finally came back with a negative test for meningitius but my back hurts like crazy!!!!!!!!!!!

    Of course this is a welcome forum, we welcome all newcomers to the forum. I would advise that all the family goes gluten-free including your spouse to make it easier on the kids to have a complete gluten-free household. I would say that you go to the site index on celiac.com and look at the safe and forbidden lists which help with all the ingredients...
