    I called while standing in the aisle of the store because I wasn't buying it if it was not gluten free. The ones I called about were gluten free. I had the plain frosting not the gel kind.

    Yes, these problems could be a result from using hair products that contain gluten. Be sure it's dandruff and not just dry skin that is your problem. Neutrogena's T-Gel shampoo is gluten free.     I had these same symptoms along with a low temp, dry skin/hair and fatigue. Finally found a doctor that said I needed thyroid even if my blood test was on the low side of normal. Now I'm on Armour Thyroid. my bones are no longer freezing, my skin is soft and my hair does not split. My temp still runs low as does my BP.

    The other common denominator from both dinners is the crock pot. If it is ceramic and has pores it maybe contaminated if it was used for glutened foods in the past. My old crock pot was a ceramic that had pores. I have new ones now.

    Yes. Avoid all cross contamination. This is not a 'little bit won't hurt' type of diet. Glutened flour stays in the air for about 24 hours. Kitchen should be cleaned very well after making something with toxic flour. And yes, you could get sick from inhaling the flour in the air.     At one point in history washing hands was not thought to be a valid medical standpoint. I think in the future as this problem is studied we will see a change in thinking. Too many people are reporting problems.

    This is one medical area where a lot of people will be eating crow. Good thing Crow is gluten free....hopefully. Well, try to find a crow that wasn't just eating in a wheat, rye, barley, oat field.

    If all the hidden gluten out of my diet I am fine. For me, any tiny bit sets my body off. I thought I was doing great with a mixed kitchen. My dh only had his bread and wrapped snack in his own cabinet. But I've seen improvement in myself since my dh went gluten free and now the whole house is gluten free.

    San-J is good and has gluten free kinds. Check, not all of their product is gluten free. Bragg Liquid Aminos is excellent.

    Call this GI and ask if he is a specialist in Celiac Disease. If not, ask them who is or find one and make an appointment with that doctor. Not all GI doctors understand celiac disease. Think of it this way. If you have bone cancer you would not want to make your medical appointment with a skin cancer doctor. He would know less about bone cancer than skin...

    All my life I've had unexplained hives. Haven't had any since going gluten free.

    I had a doctor tell me that the food we crave the most is probably the one we should not be eating.
