  1. I think I know the confusion here. If you scroll down past all the comments, at the end of the page, you will see "View Full Text" or something like that. If you click on that, the whole list for that particular section comes up...... Hope this helps! Karen
  2. Hi Jaime, Yes, they did change their format but it is still accessible..... I still use it. Just click on the "Gluten Free Products List" and then save it to your folder...... Hugs! Karen
  3. Yep, he definitely had the "do"! Also, remember that lovely 80's "feathered back" look?
  4. I'll see your leg warmers and pastel headbands and raise you one shiny acetate blouse and some blue eyeshadow with pink lipstick.....
  5. No need to hit the report button. I already have..... Karen
  6. Alfred, Please stop spamming our board with ridiculous claims..... Thank you. Karen
  7. You forgot the high-top Reeboks and Flashdance off-the-shoulder top. Ahhhhh, those were the days! LOL! Karen
  8. LMAO! Don't worry Spunky! We are quite comfortable with "discussing the quality of poop"! You would be amazed how many threads there are from people who have sheer joy at finally having a normal BM after going gluten free. You have the "I wanted to take a picture of it!" to the "I called the whole family in to take a look at it" to the "I literally did...
  9. I know the feeling of absolute total exhaustion very well. I still get it. It particularly scared me one day when I was taking the kids to visit my mom in the city and I literally felt like I was going to fall asleep at the wheel on the highway...... Karen
  10. Yep. Remember it well. The Poodle look....... OMG! You are bringing back some very unpleasant memories!!!!! That certainly was a scary era...... Karen
  11. This insidious disease can do all that and much more....... Karen
  12. I have been on disability through my work since October 2004. After a certain amount of time, they require you to apply through the Federal Government for Disability Benefits and if you are approved, the insurance company through work will still top up to what you were previously getting. I sent in the papers about 3 - 4 months ago, and got a call this...
  13. How true! The internet has helped in totally butchering the english language...... Karen
  14. I think what she meant was the the damage can be corrected, but she certainly did not imply ALWAYS. Moreover, she didn't say "cured". She's fully aware "once a Celiac, always a Celiac". Karen
  15. I was thinking that too Carla! What a wonderful friend! She is very lucky!
  16. Hi Tracey! Welcome to the Board! If I had a dollar for every celiac or gluten intolerant person who was told "it is in their head" or they are "crazy" or they are a "hypochondriac", I'D BE RICH!!!! It unfortunately happens way too often. Considering the average time from the onset of symptoms to finally being properly diagnosed is 11 YEARS, it's no...
  17. Hi Spunky, I saw nothing that suggested "cold and insensitive" in your above post. You are doing just fine! Davyn, you have gotten great info so far. If it turns out celiac, you know the route to go, but if tests come back negative, there is also the possibility that you have gluten intolerance without actually having actual celiac. Also, added to...
  18. Well, I guess it's becoming more well known that you can lose weight on a gluten free diet. Below is an excerpt from the September 18, 2006 issue of "People" magazine.
  19. No problem. Us Newfies have thick skins (to go along with our thick skulls!) LOL! Hugs. Karen
  20. OMG! Howling at "The Kentucky Waterfall" and "The Canadian Passport"!!!!!!! LMAO!
  21. OMG! that's hilarious! That would be as irritating as the Jehovah's Witnesses who are always knocking on my door! Hey, maybe we could don white robes and hand out out fact sheets at airports like Hari Krishnas!
  22. Well, how idiotic is THAT????? I can just picture it: http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-12/1116660/soupcan.webp Rachel: "Here is the broth I used, and the best part is it is gluten free! Aren't I being helpful to the celiac community?"
  23. LMAO! Hey Nancy, isn't it amazing the things we come up with at 5:00 a.m. because we can't sleep??????
  24. Oh Ursula, PULEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESE tell me that Ken is not a Newfie! If he is, no wonder he's no longer in Newfoundland, they would have kicked his sorry butt onto the wharf and into the harbour for the way he is treating you! Hugs. Karen
  25. OMG! Susan, is it the same movie I saw (can't remember the name) but I can remember them moving the family house over the frozen lake by pulling it by a huge rope (apparently, this was done quite often way back when). Also, the woman at the end of the story had her brother's ashes when he died, but since her brother abused her in childhood, she dumped the...
