    ARCHIVED Shakeology

I can tell you that Shakeology made me violently ill. I only used half the packed of powder. I wouldn't touch it with a ten-foot pole after how sick it made me. I had never had such an intense reaction before, but had the same thing the last time I was glutened a few weeks ago.
  2. According to their website they are not certified gluten free, nor do they test for gluten. It used to have the label on it but no longer does. They do not ask their suppliers either. Some time next year they will have a form of testing in place, till then, who knows. I have noticed that it has been upsetting my stomach for the last few weeks so I switched...
  3. I would love the Urban Decay list!!!! I have emailed them several times and never received a response. Thanks!!!!!!
  4. Looking for something with good pigment and long lasting. Would def prefer a kind that self sharpens. What kind does everyone prefer these days. Tired of the powder and brush app. Thanks!!!

    ARCHIVED Is It True?

Sadly they closed the restuarant sometime in the middle of last year I think.
  6. Thank you David. When I looked at the packaging of several items, not a single one had the words gluten free that I looked at. This included a variety of nuts, nut mixes, as well as items like rice cakes, cereals, meats and such. I have not been able to find any info, other than a couple of their soymilk products are supposedly labeled gluten free, but the...
  7. An Aldi's grocery store opened not to far from me. Other than the obvious like produce, has anyone had any experience with them? What about their labeling policies? Just trying to figure out if I should even stop there for anything other than produce. Reading some of the labels appeared safe, but not sure as if their labeling policy is upfront about gluten...
  8. Has anyone eaten at Flips Patio Grill? They have locations in Fort Worth and Grapevine? (TX) I have to go there Friday for a meeting. I did call but they were not very helpful... Was hoping to hear from someone with experience....
  9. I occasionaly attent the North Texas Gluten Intolerance Group's meetings, they meet in North Richland Hills monthly. There is a group on your side of town, Lone Star Celiac, which you can look up. DFWceliac.org Both have informational websites.
  10. I picked them up last month at Sprouts. Love them with peanut butter!
  11. General Mills has released a website that lists specific Gluten Free products. It clearly states that Gluten Free will be on the label. This list was updated Recently, and several of Progresso's soups have been removed. Including the Creamy Mushroom. Open Original Shared Link Progresso Gluten Free Soups: "Progresso® Rich & Hearty• Rich &a...
  12. They have now removed the gluten free labeling, and are no longer saying that their regular soups, including cream of mushroom soup, are gluten free. I just got an update for my supermarket guide(Cecilia's) and they have said to remove most of progresso's soups that have the new labels.
  13. In the past, Everyday Minerals was heavily recommended on this forum. As they have removed their Gluten Free status, are people still feeling the same way about them? I didn't think to look before I placed an order, and now that I have placed a rather large order I am hoping I didn't make a huge mistake. Any thoughts? Ideas? Input? Reassurance?? Greatly...
  14. When I worked at Burger King, they did not have a designated fryer. Also, the onion rings are placed directly next to the fries, which is why many people find fries in their rings and rings in their fries. The only thing that had a truly designated fryer was the fish, as no one wants their chicken smelling like fish. Sonic also says their fries are gluten...
  15. Thank you so much for posting this!!
  16. Are all champagnes safe?
  17. I had that frequently before I was diagnosed. I never knew when to expect it. I just remember the worst incident being when I couldn't wake myself up. It was really creepy. Kept looking at the clock screaming for help. My body wouldn't move yet I felt like I was moving. Not something I care to have occur again. Maybe a deficiency? Is he under a lot of stress...
  18. Happy birthday and may God bless you today!

  19. I would be very hesitant about items that are sprayed, as you can quite easily end up with those in your mouth. I have year round allergy problems, so I do have constant drainage, so I am even more careful about what I am inhaling than most seem to be.
  20. If you go to Progresso's website, you can find exactly which stores carry which soups. I was surprised to find that my local Walmart now carries it.
  21. Their Creamy mushroom soup has been gluten free for a while, I have never had problems with it. They also have a few others that have gluten free on them. The main problem being no two stores carry the same soups around me. Just be sure to check the label each time. I think that some of the older cans do not say gluten free.
  22. Wow this is a touchy topic. I am going to be brief. As a victim of private insurance, I have a strong desire to see changes made. I doubt that what has passed so far will go much further. This whole thing is a lose-lose situation and I really don't see it getting better any time soon. Yes, something needs to be done, but there is too much money involved...
  23. The new packaging changed the gluten free status on many of their foods. I am guessing cost cutting efforts combined facilities. Fewer options for us. Sucks. Hope you feel better soon.
  24. Preparing for this trip, and was wondering if anyone had specifics for the Waukegan Gurnee area as far as food. Restaurants and grocery stores would be the most helpful. Park City will also be close. Any help would greatly be appreciated.
