    Hi. If you're willing to bake.....we absolutely LOVE Pamela's gluten-free Bread mix. Super easy. It's comparable to a fairly hearty whole grain bread from gluten days.     Hi. Something to consider....My 6 year old son (gluten-free, casein-free) is also free of all artificial food dye and sodium benzoate preservative.     Possibly. I know that doesn't help much. Sorry. Early on in the diet last year someone gave us them for my daughter & I to enjoy. We both had a bad reaction 1/2 a day later, but it could have been something else since we were newbies. However, having said that, I've never felt comfortable buying them again. Jillian

    Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I swell mainly in the legs--the whole leg--and sometimes in the hands--enough to make my rings a bit tight when they normally spin around.     BritChick, I'm so VERY sorry you're suffering so much! I, too, had (hopefully not "have") gastroparesis. My gastric emptying test showed that it took just under 9 hours to digest a hard boiled egg. At it's worst 4 years ago I lived on mashed potatoes for 9 months.     Hi. It's processed with a barley enzyme. Rice Dream claims that their end product tests gluten-free, but personally, my daughter and I got extremely sick from it. I had unknowningly made french toast with it. We are sensitive folks though, so it may not affect everyone. Personally, I will never use their products again. Jillian

    Crimsontopper, Have you ever considered the dairy in the Cheetos? Lots of folks here also have trouble with either the lactose in dairy (the milk sugar) or the casein in dairy (the milk protein). It can cause the symptoms you described. We only found out about our casein intolerances AFTER we went gluten free. Just a thought. Hope you're feeling better...

    I'm so sorry you're feeling so awful! I get that way from soy, so I'm 101% soy free now too. Someone here suggested to me to mix about 1 or 2 teaspoons of baking soda in a glass of water and drink it down. It definitely helps.     Nancy, If 90 & above is positive and she had 90, then I would say she is Celiac. Many doctors diagnose based on blood alone without a biopsy.
