  1. I did the recipe before. I recommend packing down the flours when measuring them. Mine came out watery cause I didn't. Or using less liquid.
  2. Nothing, but breastmilk till 6 months. Then introduce plain rice cereal. Then the other cereals one at a time watching for reactions.
  3. I am not seeing that anywhere on the site. I only eat the lightly salted rice cakes and there is no wheat in them.
  4. Herb Ox Chicken Bouilon and Seasoning is marked gluten free on the package. You just have to boil some water and put in the seasoning and then you have chicken broth.
  5. Those symptoms sound like Celiac. I also would think you are dehydrated. That can cause dizzy spells and chaped lips. You should drink more water. Dizzy spells can also be a symptom of hypoglycemia. But I am more likely to think it is dehydration since you have diarrhea daily. Since you have no insurance to see a doctor, you could try the gluten free...
  6. I beleive Motrin is gluten free. Equate is made in the same factory as the name brand medicines. They just put it in a different box.
  7. I just got one of those coupon books in the mail and it had a health food store in Warren. It is off of Van Dyke on Old 13 Mile Road. I called there adn asked if they take EBT cards. He said they will be in 3 weeks when they get their machine. He also told me they have a program where you buy so many gluten free items you get one free. The address is...
  8. I forgot to add, excederin migraine is my best friend lol.
  9. Migraines make you sensitive to light and sound. You don't nessesarily have to have a headache. Sometimes I have a headache with light sensitivity and sometimes I am just sensitive to the light. You will probably eventully get a headache. Migraines creep up on you and get worse, if you don't treat it right away.
  10. My eyes have been so bad that I was pretty much blind. Sitting in front of a computer for hours made it worse. It sounds like a migraine to me. I would start taking a magnesium pill daily and see if that helps.
  11. I read somewhere that if your intolerant to milk, their is a good possiblity you will be intolerant to soy. I would avoid the soy and stick to coconut and almond milk. Check the labels on the almond milk many of them contain soy.
  12. Why is green the color for celiac awareness?
  13. You could probably find a regular bread recipe and substitute the wheat flour and baking powder for the flour mixture. If the recipe calls for milk, just use water. I believe most bread recipes call for water anyways.
  14. Do they carry any gluten free pastas or flours?
  15. Xanthan Gum can be found in any health food store. It is about 12 or 13 dollars for a bag. I never use it. I either omit it or use knox gelatain whenever a recipe calls for it. I heard of people using guar gum too and it is less expensive but some people can't tolerate guar gum so they buy xanthan gum anyways. I use Red Star yeast. I didn't know yeast...
  16. I am wondering if it is worth it to drive all the way to Sam's CLub. What gluten free items do they carry? I mean besides the obvious fruits, veggies, and meats.
  17. I have a pizza dough recipe. I am sure you can just cut up the dough into bread sticks, brush on some butter and garlic with some parmesan cheese and there you got bread sticks! This recipe is from best gluten free breads cookbook. 1 tablespoon sugar 1 cup lukewarm water 1 teaspoon yeast 1 1/4 cup rice flour 3/4 cup potato starch + extra for dusting...
  18. What is in them??
  19. Some people don't have any symptoms. That doesn't mean you shouldn't be gluten free. It canall be internal that you cannot see. You are damaging your insides by not continuing to be gluten free.
  20. I'm not sure. I never seen the results of my tests. I only know that I had two tests come back positive and one negative.
  21. I never tried it before, but I love to make smoothies. I will have to see if I can find it nd test it out.
  22. I had that after my gallbladder was removed. I always thought that was why I had issues.
  23. It doesn't look like you got a full blood panel for Celiac. There is a possibility you still may have it. Also you need to continue eating gluten for the tests to come out accurate.
  24. What are you drinking? If soda, that will make you gain weight. You have to watch your liquid calories too. All I drink is water and iced tea and occasionally 100% juice. I have lost weight. I also eat mainly vegetarian with only meat at dinner. Sometimes I even eat vegetarian at dinner. I eat things like spaghetti with zuchinni and no meat, vegetable lasagna...
