3blessed The mileage to Columbus is about 220 & about 3 1/2 hrs from Butler. There is a get to gether planned at Sunnybridge, McMurray Pa for Nov.11.06, you must call to register. It is not a conference or anything like one. Gina who is the owner has samples of gluten-free foods she's made & of course she hopes for big sales that day. If you... -

Count me in on loving the living without. I'm not so impressed with the other one. ANd yes, count me in on being a pack-rat. I've collected recipes for years & years. My husband told me if I lived to be 190 I couldn't make every recipe I have collected ..plus the hundreds of cookbooks. I have broken down a few times & donated some of my cookbooks...

ARCHIVED Manna From Anna
mamaw replied to skinnyminny's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
Everybody Eats will ship anywhere. If you look at their site they have some places that now carry their stuff. Some may be cheaper than ordering directly from them if they will ship . I'm not sure about shipping but I do know one of the places sells their stuff cheaper than they do. It doesn't make sense to me but I was told they can sell it for less because... -
ARCHIVED Manna From Anna
mamaw replied to skinnyminny's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
I have to come in for Anna's defense here... if you order directly from her the mix is not $ 10.00 it is more like $ 6.50 & others are less. It is the stores that jack up the prices. I bought Namaste stuff for around $ 6.00 the I went someplace else & it was $3.00 more for the same item I just paid less for..... I like Anna's mix because in my prior... -

Hi Lisa I'm so sorry you are having all this trouble. Doctors make me sick, I don't know where compassion went to in their vocabulary.. I too agree if the diet made you feel better then do the diet & when insurance comes your way do the genetic testing....it sounds like your chances of having celiac or an intolerence is fairly clear from wha tyou stated..... Don't make yourself worse by eating the gluten..... good luck mamaw -

I get the yeast reg one but my daughter uses the no yeast one. Depends what other allergies you are trying to avoid. Anna does go to conferences & sells her mixes. Other then that I would say order directly from her website. That is how I've been doing it .... ...All of her stuff is very good. -

Stinger welcome to the group... Yes, you probably do know more than most doctors as most of them are clueless about celiacs........You will learn loads from this great group of people.
